I don't know off hand, but NRGZ updated some stuff on the first few posts on the first page so you might want to check that out and see what it says, my internet is running slow and it's taking forever to load a page otherwise I would look and see.

Flashed 23673 dinik jul 17 just now... ran into SOD problem. Ill wipe device, task29 and try again...

It's standard practice to flash, hard reset and then start setting up the phone, you say you had a SOD, but did you import any settings from the last rom or how did it happen, the more details you provide the more help we can be on resolving your issue. I have never flashed to stock or task 29'd and I don't have any of the issues that most have here, but I don't import any settings either which I think is part of most people's problems, just my 2 cents.

Ya i hear you, but i NEVER have imported settings either. But to make it fresh i did what i always do....hard reset, task29, flashed rom... hard reset again.... then set up phone...With all the 23xxx builds seems i run into SOD issues. 21911 And all 21xxx builds seem to bypass it. Never SOD once before on those builds.... But just now im trying out the GTX 23973 build, seems backlight is working again... and its dimming when supposed to...Ill mess around with it and keep some more updates on my situation. Try to sort this out...Thanx

i asked this question/problem about 100 pages ago but didnt get an answer.
is anyone still having problems with the maxsense roms and not being able to use the keyboard properly? i have switched back to the cookie roms but wanna try another maxsense. does anyone know if this has been fixed?

And me and Kiowa have answered several times. Kiowa and a couple other people have even provided the link or cab file.

If you are talking about the : and the / being reversed, then there is a cab called the sprint keyboard fix in the cab downloads attached to this discussion thread.

If you are talking about a different keyboard problem, please be more specific and we will try to help you.

oh sorry i did not specify. i know about the keyboard fix and use that everytime. i was talking about when using maxsense and i would slide the keyboard out and the phone should normal switch to landscape mode, it would only show the the 'program launcher/quicklink' page. i could launch programs but i couldnt see any other page (home, start, setting, etc. ) obviously this is not normal/acceptable for everyday use. i was wondering if this was a problem for anyone else and if it has been fixed in subsequent versions of the maxsense rom
