Just today I lost my ability to have sound come out of the phone speaker (not handset, but the speaker used for music, speaker phone, and I think ringer). I just noticed it when I missed a call without hearing it ring. Then when I tried to retrieve the message from Visual Voicemail, I could not hear anything (handset or speaker). I then started Windows Media Player to see if I could get any sound. I heard a faint amount of sound coming from the handset speaker--not the speaker phone speaker.

I'm on Verizon, running April 1 23554 CoOkie. Has anyone heard of anything like this? Any help would be appreciated.

For those who have problems with downloading from hotfiles:

You may want to use a download manager which has pause and resume features. Once you have initiated the download, if it doesn't complete, it will hold the link and allow you to restart or resume. There are several out there but I use THIS DOWNLOAD MANAGER. It should also significantly speed up your downloads.

Did you mess around with the taskbar or taskbar icons? That's caused similar problems in the past. You could also try flashing the radio.

There has been a memory leak in every NRG sense 2.5 ROM since day one. It's something out of his control IIRC.

I have been having a problem with mine. I think it's my headphone jack though as when I plug in the headphones they fade in and out with my wiggling them around. If I'm not using them the TP2 thinks something is in there. I really don't think it's a rom issue. Wish I knew how to disable that piece of hardware really till I can send this back to HTC to get it worked on.

I had the same problem... If you went into comm manager and then selected phone from the menu option and tried to play a ring tone (any custom or stock) It would say that the ringtone is either corrupt or missing. But If i went into it from sounds it would play... I simply did a soft reset and it started working again.... And it has only happened twice and I cannot recreate it... The only other problem I have had with this rom is that Sense 2.5 will randomly not show up and I have to hit start and then home for it to come back up... Otherwise I love this rom and Serious props for the chef!!!
