i decided to rename the top row of shortcuts to clean up the today screen.
while i was editing the registry links for them, i realized that i didn't actually need a name for these icons as they are self-explanatory, like calendar, google maps, and total commander.

so i deleted the string in the reg key and left it as a blank.
when i restarted HTC Sense, wow, the icons were almost invisible....like having about a 20% opacity.=D>

i re-edited the google maps icon and entered a " " (space) for it's name. that caused HTC Sense to display the icon with normal opacity and with no title.

so, if you want to see that gorgeous background you're using for a today screen and your shortcuts are obscuring it, follow these steps and make the icons very opaque.

i've attached a pic of my today screen with the calendar icon at normal opacity (because that title is a " "), and google maps, and total commander are very transparent as i've left their titles empty.

Yes, that is a known tweak.
I have cabbed up the reg entries for that a while ago.
That way when you change programs assigned to the links, you can just run the cab again. HERE is the cab. I made it for my 16 links cab, but it should work fine on 9 links as well.

Speed and effiency go hand in hand, so I do believe battery life also will eventually benefit from it.
Yes it is probably is not his priority as I have had other roms being being more energy efficient as well as faster, so its not really a valid excuse either.
His roms seem more unique in their operational looks & smoothness.

I may have found the problem for you.
It is the Opera 10.
Let the truth be known.
Let your eyes get past the flashyness to see the garbage.
Stays on in background suuckin memory.
Invisible in task manager.
Opera10 has slow screen refresh and improper zoom settings for our TP2screen.
The fact that it does not show top taskbar when I need to switch or get out to view a notification, makes this less useful and not practical for multi-Task use.
Major drain for me, keeping unit drainin above 300ma & never below 200ma.
I installed perfect opera 9.7 to fix the dam battery drain.
This was my experience on the Sense2.1rom
Your actual experience may differ.
EDIT: I may have also resolved this with another install of Opera10,
But then I wouldn't be able to complain as much ha.

So I see in the change log: Streamlined XDA_UC process

and now mine isnt copying over manila files or folders but cabs, mscrs, and xmls are working fine during xda_uc anyone else have this issue on todays roms?

Im guessing NRGZ edited the xdauc.mscr... * My temp solution was just to copy over an unedited xdauc.mscr and re-run xda_uc and everything copied over fine..

The facebook tab and feed isn't even working on my phone. Any ideas why? Do I need to install mortscript or should it work right out of the box
