so we're getting a new ROM from NRGZ tonight? just seen his tweet post.

Has anyone else been getting this problem in their email tab, it only happens if I switch to the email tab while already in landscape mode, if i switch to portrait and back it lines up properly after.

Anybody else have this problem? I have searched, heck ive read every page in this thread. I have not had this problem with the last 4 roms. I have tried alot of things, including re-flash. Still happens without any new cabs installed. It only turns on when i expect it to, just wont doesn't shut back off.

My battery went from 100% to 10% in 12 hours. I noticed the data conn stays on. I reflashed and still have the same problem. If i manually shut it off it will stay off (no need for reset). Then check email or weather and it will auto back on, but stay on again. Today i manually shut it off after checking emails and my battery was at 70% after 12 hours of use.

My Data Connection won't auto off.

Here is a reg edit that I found. I have not tried it yet but it is for sprint and verizon TP2. Found in this thread. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=69185

I have now tried it and it seems to be working. The data is shutting off on its own. We will see if this helps the battery now.

Here is the reg edit:

Default is #777 and should not contain anything about GRPS

makes it so you can make calls while you have a data connection.
YOU CANNOT have both on at same time
before you COULD NOT answer any calls
while you had data present.
now it disconnects the data and
makes it so you can answer calls

Thanks, but I'm not talking about the taskbar notification manager. When i get a new sms, the whole text pops up on the screen and i can read the message and now the only option is "hide message" on the left softkey. On older ROMs I could hit the right softkey and have options to reply or save as read etc. Anyone seen the fix for this? Can't find it here or xda.

I couldn't find anything on this, but I tried MightyRom when I first got my TP2 and it had a Peep shortcut in Programs, but I can't remember the string. I'm now on the new Energy release (23529) and I can't find Peep anywhere. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I am not quite sure what your talking about but there is a twitter tab in the slider. Also if you go to start menu then internet, there is one there to.

Yeah I see it in the tab, but not in the internet folder. I checked the Windows folder too thinking it may be called something like Peep or HTCPeep so that I could create a shortcut, but no such luck. I was hoping to be able to add it to my Quick links.
