Yep a new rom on the way! According to NRG's twitter update we will get a version with Co0kiMonster's home page mod cooked in! That is pretty exciting news to IMO. Especially the comment about how it performs better when it is cooked in. Can't wait to check it out. 3 pages of quicklinks will be awesome!

Ahhh, the finger menus. I think that's due to the build of WM you're on actually because if you go into sound and notification settings (through the start menu) and select SMS that is where you can toggle them to be shown or not. Now, I know you don't want them on or off you want the right soft key functionality. I'm not 100% but I think the only way to change that is to change the build of WM you're running. I think 6.5 has those options and not 6.5.x, but I couldn't tell you for sure due to the fact that I turn those off because they annoy me. Best of luck to you though.

I have now tried it and it seems to be working. The data is shutting off on its own. We will see if this helps the battery now.

makes it so you can make calls while you have a data connection.
YOU CANNOT have both on at same time
before you COULD NOT answer any calls
while you had data present.
now it disconnects the data and
makes it so you can answer calls

im having an issue with the menu soft keys in other programs. its takes forever for it to show up and its also not showing up properly. can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?

Man the cats ROM's are the bomb! But the battery drain is killing me! I watched it lose 5% doing nothing in 15 minutes....any help out there on this issue?

I believe its due to the data not turning off. If you look back 1 page, yo will find a post from me explaining a fix to get it to turn off. Just starting to test to see if battery is doing better.

EDIT- Also reducing the backlight has helped.

if u havent already, turning the backlight down helps a lot
