For me it happens every once in awhile, but always after a soft reset. It happened the first time after provisioning for Verizon. The thing is I've been able to wake it up by pullinig out the stylus...weird, I know, but hey it works.

After you run provisioning you need to start the data connection manually. For some unknown reason it doesn't start automatically. Then you can send mms without a problem. The prov sets the pic limit to 1mb. Then you can install the 5mb cab. No need to run MrX as Energy_Sprint is based off of MrX Sprint. Hope that helps.

Update:

I've followed your directions up to the provisioning. Did not install the 5 mb cab nor Mr. X.. I've gotten as far as being able to compose a pic message and send, but then it gets stuck in the outbox. I reboot, then the messages will send after reboot. Any fixes for this?

I know there aren't alot of USCC users but the provisioning worked perfectly on this version of the rom. The other versions I would need to install arcsoft or go in and change the server address. I didn't need to, but more importantly I was not able to. I tried installing the arcsoft cab but it was unsuccessful and I could not edit or create a new server address. Didn't need to sms and mms work perfect.

Will I lose any of the installed apps ? np. ill just reinstall, but it would be swell to know that theyll be still there (kinda messy on my HDD, will have to start looking again for the ones that worked - a lot don't ).

If I make a call to vm and put in my passcode and # it will connect properly, but on the CDMA settings field in the phone settings menu it doesn't work. the field currently read *86p@@@@#. The @ sign is my passcode. This is where I set it up before and it worked the way it should

Well tried an other Rom and its for sure the actual phones button that is broken. So back to this rom since is the best i have tried so far. Tomorrow will do Sprint stock 6.5 upgrade and saturday or moday take to fix or replace and by the the cooks will have made HTC MMS for sprint work and bang... unlock and re-flash Nrg rom with htc mms wootzzzzz...
