i just installed the newest ROM (23541 with cookies quicklinks) and im getting this issue: ScreenShot1.jpg i tried soft resetting and nothing, i cant figure out why the menus are blacked out? any ideas?

Answer: The extra files are for flashing the ROM. Use the romupdateutility.exe file to get this on your phone once it is connected via Activesync.

SO those just to run the .NBH File as .exe and flash the phone through usb cable?? but for me i like to do it from SD card so just through the nbh file there and flash

I am using NRG Cookie 2-26.

I fixed it by deleting all previous text messages. After I updated the ROM, I reloaded my old text messages from the Microsoft My Phone program and that must have been where the problem started. Bummer that they aren't compatible. Love the new ROM though.

I'm normally a user of Straight up sense.. In seeing that Energy is looking at ditching that clean look for cookie...

I downloaded both Cookie & Max.

Max - naa.. It might have stayed if I could change the auto linked items.. I dont use that version of calender. I use the other one. You can edit appointment frequency. Also didnt care for the fact that hitting those button only took you too the slider instead of bringing up the program.

Cookie - Take it or leave it actually. I only use about 4 on home/20 links soo.. Alittle rougher on mem. not too bad. Call history back on front is good. Going to give it a dry run for a day or so.

The one issue I would love to see addressed is the battery life... There is battery drain even in airplane mode. I thought it was my radio searching but apparently not. I'm guessing its an issue with 6.5.5 roms.

I also would like to have a docs cab. Im one of the few that didnt have mem drain over it running. ( shrugs ) But is very handy for pulling up invoices etc Quickly while with customers. Cab would work better for those who do want it since most don't seem to have a need for it.

Ereader... would be neat BUT only if you can actually turn it off...

(wondering how many of santods mods will work on cookie version)

So which one you like which one more stable and faster and (better) give a advice for the public ......lol

I also was a straight up sense user, no maxx, or cookie. but I wanted the call history back on home tab, so I grabed up the cookie rom. and I love it! seems snappy enough. the only thing is..is trying to fill all the quick links. lol

I don't think anyone could say better.. I think it a matter of opinion. If you want plain ordinary sense go with standard. If you like to customize your home tab go with maxx manila, if you want more quick links then try cookie. To me maxx manila has too many options. I like to keep it simple. I think everyones experience with a rom is a little different, as in what I like you might not.. if your new to flashing then learn about SASHIMI it makes flashing easy if you don't like flash again..

What i love about Cookie's Home Tab is not so much having all the extra links (i don't really need that many), but the ability to organize shortcuts in 3 groups. I have a media page, games page and a tools/apps page. I love being able to organize them that way even though i cannot fill all of the pages.

So far everything is really great for me on the 23xxx Feb 26 build. Very fast. Cookie's mod seems faster with a lot of links! Just wish i had the docs tab back.
