Why not just do the Quick Menu disable and setup Showcase yourself?

FYI NGR. MaxManila 2.9 DOES work with 2011. However, you need to build it in as a package. I took the maxmanila 2.9 cab file and converted it to an EXT using a cab to EXT converter found over at XDA http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=525302

Then I dropped into Calkulin's 1.5 b3 kitchen and built a 2011 ROM using a 28223 SYS and it seems to work great. Everything seems to work.

Anyway, check it out NRG.

Did you try to edit the registry manually with registry editor? Might work.

Are you positive, that todays roms won't have it cooked in already??

it was in the tools folder then in the tweaks folder, there was "turn on notification manager" and "turn off notification manager" notification manager is the screen you get when you tap the top task bar.

there was also "finger menus" which I believe is the finger friendly menus, and you have the option to turn it off, not that I want to.

I just want to turn off Notification manager, so when I tap on top task bar ill get the enlarged bar that kind of drops down..

It just may, he's probably one step ahead. I've been building my own ROMs lately with Calkulin's kitchen and came across the post about cooking it in and tried it

Not sure why the cabbed version doesn't work tho.
