How are you trying to copy the file? It should work if you do it with Total Commander or Resco Explorer. I used Resco. If you try via Activesync you'll get the access denied message. When I used Resco it warned me that I was changing a file in ROM and that it may cause problems, but it allowed me to overwrite it and it worked fine.

I travel a lot in the US. Ever since I moved to the TP2 and NRG rom, my clock is not adjusting automatically. I've read the FAQ and the countless posts about clocks/alarms and changing the time zone. I've done all that.

When I manually change the time zone - either for home or visiting - I get a warning that all my appointment times will be changed. For example, my next calendar events change from 8A to 7A when I move from EST to CST.

With the stock rom, the phone would adjust as soon as the radio was turned on in a new time zone. And the appointment warning never showed.

Is there no way around this?

Yes, it's an issue with the version of Manila 2.5 that's cooked into the ROM. There's no complete solution but a workaround has been posted in the FAQ on the first page of this thread. You can disable how Manila handles SMS so it works like in previous versions. You'll only see the preview in Manila but Outlook handles viewing full messages and composing. It's not a perfect fix but it's doable and the best we have for now.

Is it normal to go to Jmz Provisioning every time you restart phone? The 2nd time around it said it had to uninstall the previous dcd Sprint something...?

Also when I edit the Sprint entry when it goes back to the netwrok settings it sets it to My ISP and I can't get it to stay on Sprint...???
