Hi i had the same problem with backgrounds not going into landscape properly so i installed the cab that was posted in a few posts back on pg 724. After a soft reset it disabled max manila, and after a uninstall it didnt allow htc sense to launch.

any ideas

I installed the same update and it disabled MM for me too... when I uninstalled it everything works again. No problem with sense loading for me.

I have 3 questions on the highly debated Sprint MMS issue:
1 - Will this work for the 1/14 and or 12/29 versions of the ROM as well?
2 - Will this allow MMS to work thru Sense?
3 - Does this fix the message counts?

why in the world would you flash back to Stock??????????????

guys guys guys. i have never ever ever ever ever (did i say ever??) had any problems on any rom using the method that i've posted about 10 times in this thread (wait, not true, one of MMs roms wouldn't take the fix).

i know you guys have a woody for htc messaging but why? it's not that great. and all this talk about it has bored me to death.

for us sprint guys, it's easier stop trying to do the hybrid crap, get rid or htc messaging (by installing the zenyee cab), install arcsoft sprint 128c (which sets all the correct server settings and changes sending size to 1000kb), soft reset and move on. done, over.

now thank me and move on. geez guys..

ill thank you! not because of posting the fix since i dont have any issues as we've discussed before lol, but because i too am sick of the postst about sprint mms.some people need to either use the multiple posts already up about how to fix mms or stop flashing roms because youre obviously not interested enough in your phone to read up on how to make it work!

i would bet you if every posting of mms was removed from this thread, it would cut out over 200 pages...

ok. everyone having issues and asking questoins. go to the cdma tp2 upgrades page. look at this rom posting. notice the paper clip at click on it. you will be shocked to see how many damn times all these disable and arcsoft and fix files have been posted. unless you're a noob and just got your TP2, you shouldn't be asking questions at all about this. it's being posted in everyone's rom threads. and just as an FYI to whoever cares, if i ever post a rom, it will NOT have htc messaging even cooked in it. don't want all this nonsense. not even sure why the cooks do this. just creates a frenzy.

I agree... That is why I put the fix I use in my signature. This has to be the MOST asked question here. So whenever anyone is reading through these post they can just click it to find out what made it work for me. The question asked about flashing back to stock 1st... there is no actual answer as to wether or not it provides a benefit, it has just become a kind of best practice in my book. It takes 3 min and all I can say is that I have far less problems than from what I see happening to others. The mms fix I use imo is clean and much faster and I dont have to enter any changes to any mms servers or settings. The idea is... use what works for you. Then we can spend time trying to resolve problems that we haven't answered 75 times already.

i'll buy that. you just have to be careful when you're suggesting to people to flash back to stock. if (like me) that have flashed the radio that unlocks sprint sim, they will lose that when they flash back to stock. many people don't know that.

1. yes it does, worked for me before i upgraded to 23518 (1/20)
2. yes it does, works thru htc sense, even the newer version
3. yes it does, worked like a charm for me!

When there are so many possible ways posted all over PPCGeeks to make it work should I try them all, or just ask what worked for this version of this ROM.... hummmmmm
