The flashdance seemed to solve the problem. My 3g was already set to auto when I had the trouble. I could get a 3g data connection, I would just lose it after making a phone call, and could not get it back without a reset or turning airplane mode on/off.

So far I've had no issue with losing data after phone calls.

This is not a "problem". Texting uses a control channel that is available only on 1x. It switches back to Ev after the message is sent. The phone calls are also handled on a different band that is why CDMA can't do simultaneous data and calls like GSM.

I am running the latest Energy ROM and now my bluetooth won't turn on.
Is this a problem with the ROM or my TP2?
Any help would be appreciated.

The problem was that the guy I was responding to wasnt able to get his 3g connection back not that it went away for a few seconds like normal.

You cant use MMS at all or just without installing arcsoft? If you cant use it at all even after the changes suggested in this thread there might be a bigger problem.

not to my knowledge Sir, I use a bluetooth headset and bluetooth works quite fine!
