This ROM is running fine me.

GPS, TimeZone (with my simple trick I posted), Fast, Quickmenu etc. all ok.

Feels the same as the prior 28008 though.

But I wanted to test voice command cabs on a clean rom any way.

I know everyone has heard this before, and it takes twice as long, but flashing to stock rom before flashing any custom rom always seems to get rid of most bugs. This has been my experience as a flash-a-holic. Once you have your new rom flashed (hopefully NRG's) hard reset or wipe device also is highly recommended. My two cents!

I have heard this recommendation before, but I don't understand why going back to the stock rom or doing a wipe device after flashing would make a difference. Can somebody shed some more light on why? Thanks.

I have flashed the 12/4 21877 rom and it is great and works great. Faster and seems much more responsive. I have loaded and AllBG cab and this screws up the ability for Sense to load when you go to other tabs. I have hard reset and have used Max Manila and Dusk just fine so far. I like it and currently can recommend its use BUT you have to watch what cabs you are loading.

EDIT: the Max Manila did mess up being able to use the tabs as well. I am going back to a previous rom
