I know everyone has heard this before, and it takes twice as long, but flashing to stock rom before flashing any custom rom always seems to get rid of most bugs. This has been my experience as a flash-a-holic. Once you have your new rom flashed (hopefully NRG's) hard reset or wipe device also is highly recommended. My two cents!
