Download the FixUnreadCout zip file I attached and extract the .exe file inside. Put that on your phone, disable sense UI and run the .exe. After it's done restart your phone and re-enable sense UI. It should be fixed, it always works for me. Let me know how it goes.

Well I know that the data connection is inactive because it shows as inactive in the GTX rom with the same apps installed. However, every time I've tried the regular Energy/CHT rom the arrows never work correctly.....always white. I know back in the Mogul days this was caused by running a GSM taskbar on a CDMA rom, not sure if that's the problem here or not.

This depends on how often you have things updating... like weather, stocks, mail etc. I always use: advanced config>menu>more settings>connections> disconnect after: ... to turn data off after X minutes... works fine for me

Jbed 20090506.2.1 is working well for the few Java apps i use...i remember other people in the Raphael thread at Xda using it...it should be ok.

Does anybody know how to backup your current ROM/installation programs/settings?

I currently have Energy Titanium Feb 14 running SPB Mobile Shell and have a bunch of installed programs already. I would like to keep this pristine copy so that I can revert back in case a newer version doesn't work for me. Is there a link explaining how to save off what you currently have (settings, installed programs, ROM)? I would love to keep trying Energy's newer ROM's, but I want to be able to revert back. It would also be nice to keep settings such as wi-fi, Shell Extension, S2U2, etc... when flashing a new ROM.
