I would think MMS would work on the WM6.5.1 builds (23081). Try the fix from the FAQ, and that should work. It's known to work on the standard builds, so it should work here, so I would believe!
MMS Fix
  1. First, you must Disable Manila Messaging.
  2. Then, just install the correct MMS fix:

Can't speak for it on 6.5.1, but on nrg's 6.5 with M2.5 the thread by mbuckwalter (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...postcount=1678) worked for me as far as keeping manila messaging for SMS and using tmail (is that the appropriate nomenclature? is it WM messaging? ) for MMS.

Eh, yea, but right now, it's almost necessary to disable Manila Messaging if you send any text messages, since it slows down greatly, and can make the phone unusable pretty much!

So, the MMS fix (including disabling Manila Messaging) is like a 2-in-1. Keeps the phone fast, and fixes MMS

Ok, so I've asked this two times before without an answer so I will ask it again. How can I see a number of missed calls and number of voice messages on my home screen?

agreed. the mms situation has not only been covered by ace, but has also been covered in many other threads. i do understand ace's frustration with that issue for sure.

Sorry, must have missed it. TMI that is not a feature of Manila 2.5. I guess they needed the room for the quick links. So, the only way to Check this is to keep the notifications on the top of the screen instead of hitting dismiss all. Now, if you just load up the dialer, it will show your missed calls, but it will also show your sent and received calls. I haven't been able to find a way to filter that... the photon ROM has the older version of manila that will show the missed calls and voice messages, but then you don't get the rest of the cool things that come with 2.5. There's always some sort of tradeoff....

Now.... after looking some. it looks like MaxManila will show the missed calls, it's a addon thing for manila 2.5 found here. I haven't used this at all, so I don't know how it works, but some people on this thread have been using it with this ROM and like it. Good luck!

I am still playing with the Manila addon...it seems to work pretty good. I would prefer a voicmail tab instead of missed calles, but it does what it is supposed to do...you can also just "swipe" it out of sight, which is cool...I'd try it

Yep, all that is is just using the WinMo client, without disabling anything. Just enter the Sprint settings, or use the Auto-Sprint MMS Settings CAB, and then manually navigate into the Standard Messaging area, and send MMS.
