I was responding to a question about why folders were slow in Total Commander, which I quoted in my post.

Opening the windows folder in total commander is very slow due to the number of files, so getting to the windows\start menu or windows\startup folder is takes a while.

The directory hotlist feature gives you a shortcut to folders you access frequently, and avoids having to go to the folders in between.

I'm thinking of trying this ROM. For those on the Verizon network, is there any problems with MMS once the cab fix is installed? Thanks in advanced for any replies.

What works for me is to us footprints to open the camera in GPS mode and take a picture. The picture will be saved as a photo, not a footprint. Go to your camera tab open the picture you just took, then scroll down on the menu and select save as footprint.

This is the only way I have found to do it.

Now for my beef, is there anyway to backup your footprints? Every time I flash a new rom they are gone and I have to start over from the photo gallery. Am I missing something?

It's actually already there. If you open Total Commander>>Show>>Directory Hotlist>>Select Start Menu from the drop down that appears...

Although I cannot seem to get a button to appear in the toolbar with TC, anyone?

Verizon MMS works on both Sense 2.1 and 2.5. I was on 2.1 forever because of the no MMS on 2.5 for a while and several other reasons.

Cookie 2.5 ROM rocks. I'm running 23xxx 2.5 Cookie. Flash it, Carrier Provision it, Verizon keyboard cab it. MMS works, and its fast and solid.

The pocketnow video is a good intro tutorial on how to custom the Cookie home screen.

Thank you for all of your help recently.

This should be an easy question. In the standard rom theres a way to remove some buttons at the bottom of the screen such as twitter, recent documents, etc. In the cookie rom I cannot find this. What place should I be looking? Thanks!

Scroll/Slide to the "Settings" Tab then look in "Personalize"... Then "Home screen tabs"

Pretty much the same place. Go to Settings (probably last tab in that bottom row) then Personalize (up top) and Home screen tabs (third option).

Data problems continue..... With the April 23rd cookie rom. Data will not connect if I am roaming. If data is already connected and I go into roam it works fine until connection is lost or phone is soft reset. My data will only turn on in home coverage. I just installed the Ninja duck network cab to be able to put phone in roam only and I can recreate what happens in the real world when I roam. Can someone else try this with a differant carrier to see if it's a USCC thing or a problem in general. I have had this problem on every NRG rom I have used for the TP2.

ps: Airplane mode on and off does not fix it.

Has anyone gotten internet sharing to work on this one? All I ever get is "Waiting for network"..
