On a different rom... I had the same blinking green light. When I marked all of my messages as "READ", the light turned off.

That only happens to me when I don't have Visual Voicemail installed... It doesn't come cooked into this ROM but there is a .cab on the second page for it.

Pretty obnoxious since this will also affect my web based gmail account which I share with my wife. I usually only read the emails I want to read and leave her emails unread.

Oh well, guess I will just have to have a blinking light for now.

Have you manually loaded it up yet? every time I have flashed from stock, I forget to install VVM until I get a voice mail. I'll get between 1-3 of the SMS's from the 9000xxxxxxxxx number and remember to install VVM. After I install it, load it up, put my PIN number in, check the message and then it works just fine. I just called it again and left a message to make sure I wasn't going crazy, worked like a charm. Maybe try reinstalling it, let me know and I'll try getting mine to break if you're still having problems later.

Sorry to keep posting back but as good as this ROM looks performance is awful. I get a lot of email and text messages.

Text/MMS is almost unusable. And something is horribly wrong as one of my contacts got 5 text messages from me and it also sent to 7 other contacts including old messages.

Email is ok. But switching tasks/multitasking is honestly 100% slower than the stock ROM.

The screens in landscape regardless of manilla are slow to rotate.
If you like tinkering have at it but this one is experimental only.

Yea, Manila 2.5 has issues with SMS.

If you want an incredible experience (trust me, it was soooo incredible) flash to the Photon Version (Manila 2.1), and it makes a world of a difference!

i cant get mms to work, can someone please you send me instructions that are a little more detailed, it says "click to view mms" and when i click it it opens for like 1 second then closes

Umm so you did this from the FAQ?

MMS Fix

1. First, you must Disable Manila Messaging.
2. Then, just install the correct MMS fix:
   • Verizon - Install THIS CAB
   • Sprint - Install THIS CAB

And then you should be able to send/recieve MMS messages. Idk how long the popup will appear, since it might be different on your network. Maybe someone else could help you out with that part, but you have to do those fixes there, first!
