i have a few problems:
1) there is not task manager on the home tab anymore
2) when i tap the top bar there is no notification manager
3) when i press the volume rocker it scrolls and doesnt change the volume.

these things were working like 20 minutes ago i dont know what happened

PLEASE HELP!!!!

soft reset ur phone it should clear up or/and uninstall the last thing u installed that has to do with the task bar

here is the trip guys i cant even get the mms option when I go to inbox it ONLY HAS THE outlook option.

currently using R4 and just realized that the home screen doesnt show that the alarm is on, it shows its off on the home screen but when i click the clock app it shows that it is on, anyone have an idea to fix that?

In case anyone wants to know, I installed the landscape, maxmanila, and hd walls all on r4 and it is working & looking sweet! IMO anyway. It works well enough I even installed gyrator and just let it rotate everything!

what's your device memory looking like with all that?? Understand the landscape cab is pretty hefty.

Also, how's batt life for you since you have gyrator running in the background?

dont know if this has been covered yet....

but how do you gvet the weather animation to activate everytime you go back to the homepage. i never get the weather animation on the home screen until im at the homepage hit menu and select a animation wallpaper and then the animation goes for that one time.


also im with sprint ans still cant get the mms to work correctly

Hiya... I'm having a bit of an issue with SMS.
I get into SMS and see everyone thats messaged me, but when I click on them nothing happens. I "right click" on them and select reply and the screen flashes, but nothing else happens.
I am using SPB on top of it.

You mean device storage or program memory? I didn't look at device storage b4 installing and I have a ton of apps on here. Got 60 mb left there though. Program memory, I am running at 58% right now. Do not notice less speed. I did notice a few funny things at first (like after sending a text then in landscape it would just be the normal black screen) but after stopping and restarting manila a couple times, i haven't seen that. Not gonna know batt life for awhile, but I never had a problem with gyrator on stock or mighty. from reading, it sounded like energy rom was having a lot of softbutton issues with landscape but i haven't seen that on r4.

I've used gyrator before...and I didn't like the additional drain on my battery...but it is earlier versions.

on the weather activation, it should animate everytime you hit the taskmanager pull down on the top right. IF you really want to see your animation like that...I think one of the hidden buttons on MaxManila activates your weather.

ON MMS...pls search this thread....its been beaten to death/trampled on/quartered/dissected/studied under an electron microscopes...and then some...seek and ye will find.

Hi Juccy, do you know how can I make works the animated weather in todays screen?, my brother has the TP2, and with your rom it is posible, but I want to add this fantastic function to mi HTC Imagio, I dont know what to do, maybe I need Sense UI 2.1, or something else?, I hope you please help me. Been on R4 for awhile now. No offense to Juicy, but R4 is what we call in the Linux/software world a "regression." I'm on my phone, so correct me if I'm wrong, but it's most likely due to the switch to the USC 6.5 CDMA base. That's understandable.

Did you do anything special to get the wallpaper to go all the way across the screen in landscape? Mine is cutoff about leaving about 1/4 screen black?

Man, I really don't know what is going on here. I have R4 installed on 2 phones and they both run flawlessly. In fact, there is a big difference in speed between R3 and R4 the latter being the faster. I don't how I can get "lucky" twice as people are calling it, and getting R4 to work on both phones with no hick ups. I haven't soft resetted either phone in over 3 days. The issues are well documented with HTC sms being s-l-o-w, but that is part of living with 2.5, you don't like it remove it and using WM native app. I am sure that the freezing of phones people are speaking about are due to software they have loaded on the phones. I have had not had any of my phones freeze with either R3 or R4. As for the sprint users, if you can't get mms to work, you abviously are not good at following directions. I can't be that lucky to have gotten it to work on two phones on both R3 and R4 the first time. I even started a thread on it with step by step directions. As far as this quote goes "Been on R4 for awhile now. Juicy and many others take time out of their lives to develop these roms and SHARE them with the community and I don't think trying to bash them is a proper thank you. Thank you Juicy for the most stable 2.5 BETA!!! out there. For all those disappointed in this rom, you should look up the definition of BETA for a good starting point. Ok, I feel better now.
