Try reflashing. It sounds like a bad flash.

I tried flashing to another rom and it does the same thing? and the only way to get my screen back on is by restarting it by hitting the red reset button..?

I think ur experiencing the 'sleep of death'. I suggest you flash a more recent rom from another chef since there seems to be no more support for this rom & the chef has been MIA for over two months. I hope he didn't get an iphone......

Damn Juicy! Just found out I was getting a TP2 tomorrow and now I find out Juicy's MIA! Oh well :(

I love juicy's roms but the little bugs are getting to me. I'm ready for something new. Has anyone heard anything new about Verizon's 2.5 update?

I guess I'll chime in as well...can anyone tell me if the "stock 6.5" Sprint ROM is worth "checking out"...its the:mrgreen: one ROM I have not tried!

If you want the new Sprint radio yeah. If flashing ROMs is your thing like my mine try the stock out for 1-2 hrs...lol Then go custom ROM of your choice.

Mods I think this thread should be closed until further notice or word from Juicy himself. No real support here and it disservice to Juicy himself and work. We all miss him and awaiting for his return. But this thread popping up on the first page of this section (TP2 cdma upgrades) every few days is crazy.

Last ROM was with created w/o him having a active device (TP2) so there is bugs and un-worked out issues.

As a respect to Juicy please closed thread until further notice.

Maybe the mods should go lock EVERY thread started by any cook or member that is no longer active. I mean we wouldn't want anybody to be able to find help or support in the community for topics that that don't interest YOU. Maybe the mods should also ban anybody that replies to a post more than 2 days old, we wouldn't want it to get bumped to the top of the page and distract YOU.


Get a clue dude... there are people who are using this ROM and looking for community support and/or interaction. Just because the author is MIA does not mean that thread should be locked. If you don't want to help people in this thread, then just ignore it and go about your business.

It's an honor to have used Juicy's ROM as well as Mighty ROM and ConFlipper's ROMs. All great legends of this community.

I wish I had the time to learn all there is to cooking ROMs I was on a great path but my studies come first. Anyhow to get back on track. I guess i'm posting just to say thank you guys for making this an awesome run for all of us here on PPC geeks.

I know this is Juicy's thread, but all of these chefs along with all the other unamed people ie. CMonex, MR X., Ziggy, and no2chem.

I think here at PPC geeks we should have a Chef hall of Fame to honor these. Even then i do not think that would be enough to show my respect and great-fullness for these. So, thanks for doing what all you chefs do best. ;)

THX for the help. i have a question, i install this rom, is sharp and very very fast, but when i touch the upper button of the phone it doesnt goes to the unlock screen with the slider, how can i get the lock screen?

If by upper button, you mean the power button, then you can install LockDevice. It will make your phone lock on wake up or on sleep (pretty much the same thing in the end).

This ROM is dead. One answer to your question is, install an arcsoft cab. The better answer to your question is to move on. :)
