Since Juicy and Mr. X work closely together, I'm predicting this ROM to be a knock out. I'm using Mr. Xs 2/18 ROM and the only thing thats gonna make me flash this is pure curiosity.... (and that it's got HTC messaging! LOL)

ohh wow! So quiet in here!... Must be a good ROM, huh?.. Well, i'll be the first to post my review:

There's really only two words: Fast. Stable.


I really dont install much, so - once everyone else is done customizing i'm sure some bugs could possibly be posted, but i havent found a one.

-two Mail accounts (gmail, exchange) set up - not a hitch.
-Synced all items with myphone
-Provisioning works, sticks, data is on - and stays on (after resets)
-i've installed opera 10 b3 -no issues whatsoever

So far all works as well. Only setting i had to manually change was setting the correct CDMA profile for htc messaging in the registry cause it was set to 002 and the one i used was 001.

I like Mr Xs slider,task and file organization. What I like about Juicy ROMs is that it takes you back to appreciating stock.

Yeah, Juicy's been using CFC for a while now.

In fact I just posted this in Bignadad's Max Manila thread, because there were people wnating to use MaxManila on this rom and it wasn't working, because it's CFC compressed.

So if anyone using this rom wants to try to use MaxManila on it, please try what I have posted and let me know if that works out for ya.


Here is the mode9.dll, patched for cfc. this will work if you are using a rom that is already cfc compressed. first you install max manila 3.0 then disable HTC Sense, then you copy this to your windows folder and soft reset.

All right you guys!!! You all got me curious here. Im running MM WAR and been wondering if JUICY'S Rom is better from those people who flashed from WAR. All this exicitement got me Super curious so should I flash to Juicy??? Any bugs on this Rom???:dontknow:

Dude, went from Juicy R8 to War, and War lasted about 8 minutes on my phone. Just pitiful compared to Juicy's stuff in my opinion.

For the most part I just stick with Juicy and deck's SSS (aka S3). I've tried a couple others, and nothing compares.

I'm not sure if someone's asked this, but is there any way to disable the htc startup sound after a soft reset? There was never a startup sound when i used R8 or Mightyrom.

no worries.... technically there is Manila_Core_xxxxx, Manila_Calendar_xxxx, Manila_Home_xxxx, but most people don't need all the minutia in the change log.

the CORE is the most important; all manila packages are cfc'ed (manila won't load otherwise)
