I installed R5 last night, but I was having issues with the alarm clock. It didn't go off when it was supposed to, and when I tried to check it bugged out and wouldn't go to the second tab to view the alarms after you tap on the clock. Is it just me, or is this rom still unstable?

Muahaha, finally! I have silenced the camera. Well, almost. There is a little, very silent crackle after the picture finishes taking that I couldn't seem to get rid of, but it is quiet enough I would take pictures in a dead silent area with np.

Attached are the resource edited camerarc.dll and the wav file I ended up replacing all the ones in there with. Paste it into the windows directory, replacing the existing CameraRc.dll.

This (should) only work with Juicy R5 or other roms using the exact same camerarc.dll (not just the same camera version..). If you try and use it for other roms it may well cause loss of functionality, random crashes, etc. Actually, it might only work for me, I only have my TP2 to test on, so.

If you want to do this mod yourself, get a resource editor, take the CameraRC.dll file from your TP2, replace everything under WAVE with the blank wav attached and the sounds should be gone.

If this works for people/people care I'll make a cab.

Hey just wondering if anybody has had this happen to the signal bars. It looks like the space for the speaker icon is shifted covering the last signal bar...see pic. Ive had this on R3, R4 and now R5...right after hard resets aswell.

Im Loving Juicys 2.5 every thing running real smooth...just want to figure this out.

If any one knows how I can fix this, that would be awesome. Thanks.

Re: [ROM] [11/28/09] Juicy Rhodium_W R5 (21882) [SENSE UI] [XDA_UC]

So I disabled the htc messaging and did did the server settings (sprint). Now when I go to contacts I can't select a contact and then select "send message". It doesn't do anything. Any thoughts on this?

Also, I can't get landscape mode on ANYTHING except text messaging. Everything else rotates but its just a black screen with the start menu on the top left and phone and menu at the bottom corners. Will this be fixed for the next release? Thanks!

If you're talking about the people tab, all I ever use that for is to call a handful of people (my Wife, my son etc, I find the tab useless for much more than that anyway)

I text most of the time also (I hate talking on the phone) & that's why I couldn't live with that laggy POS HTC messanging app.......

Mine is the same way, I never noticed it before as I always just select the recipient from within the messaging app & that works fine.

thats what the disable htc messaging cab does disable all HTC messaging.

there is landscape only on the music and photo tabs............there is nothing to be fixed. manilla 2.5 is designed for a device without a keyboard.

Hopefully someone can crack it and get to work, it is a little, weird. As far as the htc messaging thing, I'll try and deal with it. Hopefully the next rom can fix this.

this already has been fixed... look on the home page of the forum... it just has not been implemented yet into any custom ROMs... you can get landscape with mortscript though... I personally don't care but I know many do...

i'm on sprint and i seem to be getting pushed to 1x a lot and it doesn't budge quickly like it usually does. If i turn off the phone radio and turn it back on it'll go back into EV. It's been acting like this ever since i flashed to Juicy from Energy. I also selected sprint provisioning at first boot on juicy. Is this just a coincidence or is this a common problem with Juicy ROM? If you know of a possible fix or what's causing it, please let me know. thanks.

I don't think ROMs can cause bad signal. Atleast not from what I've read.

that landscape thats out is not a direct from HTC. its been developed by XDA. so as far as im concerned manilla 2.5 is still portrait only except for the photo and music tabs.

the ROM has no affect on your reception what so ever. the radio is not touched when you flashed this rom or energy.

Nobody is going to put this into a custom ROM in its current form IMHO, it's too buggy & doesn't look right at all.

thanks for the replies. i know ROMs don't touch radios, but they do alter many things that may introduce strange problems thats why i was asking. it's not that i'm in a bad reception area. this is in a big city at my home where i always have EVDO. I always have full bars here. Even on the rare occasions that i did go into 1x in the past, it would soon snap out of it if i moved to a different room for a sec. I've been on 1x more in the past 24hrs than i have since Rev A was rolled out. Not sure what's going on as i didn't think ROMs touched this either, but it's an eerie coincidence. I am hoping it is just a temporary network thing with sprint because i am really enjoying not having to soft reset due to memory like i had to do on energy. Just wanted to check in with you guys who have been running this for a while to see if it's been an issue with others.

Does selecting the sprint provisioning thing cause any issues? On energy i alwawys chose to skip it and was fine.

No.

And may I remind Juicy that Ringer settings do not survive a reset. Specifically Ring and Vibrate. In fact, the other day, I missed all of my calls because the ringer just decided not to ring.

did u install that SRS WOW cab? my phone started acting all kinds of funny last nite after installing that plus i had a low battery and my car charger plug pins must be warped cuz i kept getting a video out screen on my phone after resets. i got home and 2 more times my screen wouldnt wake so had to pull battery or soft reset. uninstalled wow srs cab and it was fine again...tried installing a few cabs i collected to test wasnt sure if they were for 2.1 or 2.5 in hopes id break juicy rom so i could try mightyrom or hard reset but it wouldnt break! so today i installed no2chems tp2 battery cab and seems like im getting a little more juice from juicy rom. ill know for sure around 1030pm when my batt died last night.

I get that message all the time, even on stock rom. It happens only when I try to charge via USB to my computer at work while using programs like Opera or MSN (which drain a lot of juice). Once plugged into the wall it's fine.

damn i dunno what keeps doing this but i missed 3 calls today cuz my phone hasnt been ringing or vibrating. when i go check my sounds its still set to ring & vib and a ringtone is selected, but when i go choose another ringtone i hear nothing, i cant hear any ringtones when choosing! i click ok then i get this messagehttp://img267.imageshack.us/img267/4...reenshot1b.png

if i soft reset itll start working like normal, will ring, and allow me to choose a different ringer with a preview but something breaks randomly during the day and i wont know when until i see ive missed a call. has this happened to anyone? gotta be something i installed, if no r6 tonight i feel a hard reset is due soon tonight
