Juicy, in R4 the sent text message notification problem showed up... I'm on verizon if that makes a difference...

Also have you seen any issues playing music, and it skipping or freezing? I'm playing mp3s off the sd card.. I have a library of about 8gb..

GREAT ROM JUICY, I've had no major problem with R4. The only annoyance I notice is when Opera is open, an dyou switch between certain windows, the top bar with notifications disappears for a split second and underneath it you see whatever is the currently loaded web page in Opera. Annoying, but nothing more.

1) make an hd wall for manila 2.5 and landscape (which people were not making before for obvious reasons
2) in maxmanila, use background4all or panoramic
3) it probably won't do that if u just use a normal wallpaper and not hd walls

if you r referring to the bsb gconfig app, i tried it once but didnt give it much of a chance. i already know all my settings for gyrator (and you don't even know its there if u make it exclusive n task manager, except takes 2% of your mem), but maybe i will revisit sometime. any tips?

ook I will beat this horse for a little then I will be done with it. The reason why alot of us on here and the Chefs keep saying "please read thru the thread" is because we don't know your setup and there are alot of cabs that don't play well with eack other and some may have post a problem so you will know. And asking about a topic that has been beaten to death gets frustrating, cause all the answers are in every language but beening invisible......
I know all of us been in school and thats how you learn by reading, cheating is everyone during ur work for you, I believe in reading thats how you learn then ask a question on a topic you don't understand, I can go on and on but I am done

I really like R4. It's working good and with a few minor tweaks, it's nearly perfect. I've grown addicted to the TF3D 2.5 and love it.

Honestly, I'm not looking forward to the newer 6.5.3 build. There are a few older apps that I use that just don't play nice with the OK button at the bottom. Without the OK button available, I can't close windows or change options.

One main app that I use daily is Lowfat Software's Mobile Invoice. I've worked with the developer to get it working properly on the WVGA device, but without an emulator or device for him to test it with, I doubt we'll see that program working nicely with 6.5.3 until MS releases an Emulator version of that OS.

I've also noticed that some of the older games no longer work on ROM's created by Juicy. I'm sure it has to do with the updated video driver. The music plays but the screen never appears. If there was a simple way of reverting back to the original driver, I'd give that a shot.

SMS is due to the SYS

not sure about the music... will try and test

no issues. i have 10gb's of mp3's on my sd card and the only time it skips is when i utilize the long end key to activate the device lock. and its maybe a 2second skip then it plays steady as always.

Is there any chance at all that the R5 release will address this issue?

This issue makes my phone unusable when I have your ROM installed and visit Canada. I understand if you don't know how to fix it, but it would be great to know before I go through the process of flashing, if you fixed this or not.

I still have this huge issue where my Lock Screen is stuck on the stupid "Unlock" on the bottom-left touch button, and then you have to press another "Unlock" button further up the screen.

And the device locks everytime the backlight goes off and I can't figure out how to change it! Also, whenever the device DOES lock, I wake it up to the Home Screen (but still locked) and the clock and will show me the time 1:02 late. So when I want to know how late it is, instead of it saying the real time 7:05, it tells me 6:03 and never changes until I unlock it.

I don't really like having to unlock my phone just to see the correct time.

yay! thank you juicy, everynite i see new updates of other roms, i want to flash but then i think my phone is running r4 just great, why flash something else when i'm used to juicy!

i think r4 was a bit better than r3, manila home tab seemed faster & i love the fixed bt stack, i can't wait to see what 21882 fixes or brings to the table, it appears it's still com2 right? which makes me happy :D hopefully mms/sms is fixed, i sort of frankensteined my sms last night to get mms working, now i get texts but manila slider doesn't show new messages, just the taskbar and the count is all wrong, lol so i can't wait to flash something new to fix my problem

i do have 1 graphical request for r5 though and took the liberty of making a cab & ext for you if you like it to cook in :) it's a bg4all mod with 16 shortcuts on the home tab, 20 is a bit overkill and makes the icons too small so please try the attached :)

oh yeah, speaking of which i would love to see the flip clock fix incorporated too so here's a working cab and an ext i made just for your kitchen :)

*edit removed the cabs for clock fix, i compressed the cab and it wouldnt install, fixed in later post, PM me juicy if u want the fixed EXT for r6

just to bring this to everyones attention. All the mms/sms fixes are the same, no one has a special one over the other person, i was rwading and notice that two different individuaks can flash and install fix and there choice of programs and the sms might work or not. that seems to be the biggest issue members are having with the fixes. if the sprint 5.0.94 does not work try sprint 5.1.22 the only thing the servers are combine.

XDA_UC & Juicy ROM FAQ's

Q - I press "Customize" and nothing happens

A - You haven't set up XDA_UC! Create a directory on your SD card titled "XDA_UC". Throw all of you cab's, reg's, xmls, mortscripts and manila files in there. You are no longer bound to only customizing your device at startup. You are also freed from having to worry about proof reading your sdconfig.txt file. XDA_UC takes care of everything by doing bulk installs silently, after you press "Customize" on my ROM (it runs a slightly modified script developed by Noonski.

Ok I see I wasn't buggin out someone else is having the same issues as me my music freezes also and only plays for about 30-45 seconds then just freezes on me with no start back so this is a major problem and I also see someone posted that youtube does not work so why was people acting like it was only me this rom is much faster but gained more bugs come on juicy lets get the RAID out and spray these bugs for a perfect ROM :withstupid:sorry had to use that.

hmmmm mp3s? or aac? also constant bitrate or variable?

i had issues in the past with aac's and variable bit rate. even though VBR's are actually the better mp3 for some reason i never had much luck with them and the manilla player.

i know its been said b4, sorry 4 the repeat juicy but is there any way you could fix sliding sounds on r6 whenever that is. or if you could think of a workaround

oh man i see r5 is out, downloading now...the flip clock fix stops it from resetting an hour and 2 minutes back everytime u go back to the home tab, just so it forces an animation...but it keeps the normal animation of the actual time change,

so lets say its 4:20pm and you were on the settings tab, if hit end to go home it would show 3:18pm, and force the hour to animate to 4 and then 2 animations from 19 to 20, slightly delaying the true time until the animations show, with the fix, if it's 4:20pm and u goto the home tab, itll show 4:20pm, not an hour and 2 min behind then jump forward, however if u are on the home tab and the time changes to 4:21pm it will animate the flip from 4:20 to 4:21 still :)

damn 40min till rapidshare is done, do u mind if we mirror your roms for faster dl for other users?

Footprints still cannot initialize camera and music still freezing on Juicy v5...=(. With no other software installed, fresh rom.
