goto that thread in tp2 themes, the build im using is posted in the last or close to last page, ill get the link. hard to tell what version im using by looking at the cab or installed programs.

I am having an issue with XDA_UC running my reg files. Everythin else runs fine but the reg files do not run. Any suggestions?

Just keep trying...rapidshare is simply busy right now. Leave it two minutes and try again. You have to wait 2 mins between each "too busy, buy a premier membership" prompt before it will attempt a download regardless.

I've only been playing with this thing for like an hour, so others may have another way, but...

Slide left-to-right until the "Wallpaper, Weather, Calendar, Shortcuts" strip appears. Then slide bottom-to-top. This will bring up several rows of similar icons. Tap the Alert icon to turn it on. Now slide top-to-bottom to return to the main screen. Slide right-to-left to move off the settings icons. You should be back at the main display...and no notifications. Seems that turning on the alert display setting needs extra space and there is not enough real estate for the notifications and shortcuts to share the same space!

Also, slide right-to-left to move from shortcuts to notifications to settings.

Is there any way for the integrated Facebook to auto-link contacts or do I have to do this manually for each one? Names are exact matches for most.

log into facebook before you sync your phone with outlook or your exchange server.

all your fb contacts should link. mine are and some of the names i have arent the names on facebook lol.

Not sure if this has been noted tried reading 100+ pages but its long :-P

Has anyone noticed that when you enable data the arrows that show is there is activity never seem to stop going, is it because its just made that way or is it because data is always being used?

Yes, mine it doing this... i believe it's just the phonecanvas.dll file that doesn't switch the icon back... i had this issue with previous ROMs and i was really annoyed by it. But, it's just the icon... you aren't online downloading phantom data all day ;)

I love this ROM by Juicy and seems to work the best comapred to others i have flashed. I also like the new HTC messaging app but too bad we can't get MMS to work. I installed the fix given by Juicy but still can't get MMS and do not want to go back to Windows messaging. I need MMS so i gotta uninstall this ROM but it would be perfect if it supported MMS :(

Can anyone tell me how to disable vibrate on screen taps, ie when dialing a number or something? I believe I've disabled it in the input section in settings as well as under other settings, and still no luck... any advice? Thx

you will see carrier cab screen while rom is loading, just tap your carrier.

Thx, made this reg edit and still get vibration on screen taps even after soft reset...is anybody else having this issue on Juicy? I've now changed two settings and made a reg edit, none of which appear to help. Any other overrides I can try?

Not that i'm rushing to flash again I LOVE THIS ROM.. whats the news on R3? Is it close? nothing to update? Overall R2 is working really good. I have had some lockup weird issues but I actually think it was related to a twosen taskbar I installed. Maybe it wasn't 6.5 compatible. I like the 6.5.1 are you working on that juicy? I know its buggy as all hell...

Anyone else notice that in the Messaging menu, the order of certain items changes after you do a manual send/receive? In particular, is the Select Messages option. When you first open Messaging you have to scroll down the menu to the next page to see the Select Messages option. However, after a Send/Receive selection, the Select Messages option moves up to the first page of the menu...

• Default menu order:
  • 1st page of menu: New, Reply, Reply All, Forward, Send/Receive, Follow up, Mark as Read, Move..., Go To
  • 2nd page of menu: Tools, Select Messages, Send via Bluetooth
• Menu order after a Send/Receive:
  • 1st page of menu: New, Reply, Reply All, Forward, Select Messages, Send/Receive, Send via Bluetooth, Follow up, Mark as Read
  • 2nd page of menu: Move..., Go To, Tools

I mention it only because personally I'd love not to have to scroll down the menu for the Select Messages option as I use it often. I wish it apeared on the top part of the menu and not one page down it all of the time.

If you want to use this rom and none of the registrry hacks or cabs are working for you, you can always use the smms cab by someguy. It is in this forum under the software catagory. = am on sprint network and my arcsoft is working. I just did the step by step setup that can be found in one of the earlier pages. I have smms installed as a backup. They both work for me though.

Problem with + in Contacts phone number
 

Hi Guys,

Great ROM, however, have an issue in that all of my contacts are set up with the + in front in order to work when I'm overseas. This is the first ROM that I have experienced the phone attempting to make an overseas call on a local number. In fact I had not set up international dialing on my phone prior to installing the ROM so the phone refused to dial any of my contacts at all. This has not previously happened on my AT&T Tilt or HTC TyTN.

Before I maually strip out the + from all of my contacts does anyone have any other ideas? Is there a switch that I don't know about that I can adjust on the phone settings, or is this maybe even a Verizon issue (I was previously with ATT)?

From the phone app, tap the menu soft key, Options, CDMA Services, Plus Code Dialing, Get Settings, Disable. Now I'm in Canada and not totally familiar with all US carriers, and who's CDMA vs GSM, but I could only see this option in the CDMA Services tab, and not the GSM tab! Hopefully you're CDMA ;)
