My reception is exactly the same with the 1.96wu radio as it was with the stock one.

perform a hardreset, if that does not help then reflash, if that still don't help re-down load and then reflash but perform a hard reset when customization completes.

what is your carrier settings, you might have too flash stock, then R2, then perofrm hard reset the manually set back up for Cricket. Then it should work, the reason why I say that is because I had to do it for one of my old TP1 phones for my little girl.

Nygel I am not following your fix. Does it end up that I have to have a separate app on my home screen just to get into the mms correctly?

Anyone know if this will be fixed in R3?

Apologies if this was asked already, but is there a way to enable manilla support for landscape mode? When I open the keyboard (sprint model) the manilla doesn't adapt like the sprint rom does.

did you try to find the answer too your question?

Manila Sense 2.5 was design for a phone with out a hardware keyboard, so therefore does not need landscape and I dont think they will fix it but make a whole new sense manila when the new device drops that has a keyboard.

I will bring you up to spped the reason most of us on here come back kinda sharp is because if you did not take the time to read and/or search how can you perform these operations correctly, nobody wants to get blame for you not reading.....

the action button was a kinda of a love hate deal, i thinks thats why no one has tried to implemented back in, coming from manila 2.0 that is..

to me a tab will not work but if you slide out the ke board then you should get the action screen in landscape, that is the way I think it should be implemented for now till HTC release there new version of TF3D

here it is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=515421

I really like this rom but I'm having no luck getting the GPS working, Quick GPS gives me an immediate connection error and neither Google Maps or Bing will find any satellites. I searched through this thread and download the VGA Quick GPS software linked to by darren.wlsn1 here, but when I try to install it I get a error telling me the software can not be installed because it "does not have sufficient system permissions."

Can anyone help me out with this, I'd like to stay on this rom, but not at the cost of gps functionality.

Search XDA for a program called SeaSGEE, it works like Quick GPS but its installable. Worked for me. Hope this helps.

Re: [ROM] Juicy Rhodium_W R2 [SENSE UI][XDA_UC]

A few more questions. I just spent an hour trying to search for answers.

Ok, why does Start -> Settings take you to the Sense UI Tab instead of the sub folder in the Start Menu?

This is fine, and it seems that almost all settings that used to be in the settings sub folder are on the tab somehow, but I can't find some control panels such as the "Long Key Press" & "Task Manager".

More specifically, I was looking for where I set the preference for the "X" in the upper right of programs to minimize programs instead of closing them.

Lastly, does anyone know of any programs, tricks, hacks to make the volume buttons be scroll buttons instead only in certain applications such as Opera? Or perhaps a way to quickly toggle the zoom slider to be scroll instead, and then back. I do have AE Button Plus and I think that might do what I want, but haven't gotten that far yet.

for the first part, hit start, settings, then menu, all settings. to change closing programs, tap where you check mem or open programs, then the wrench. change setting in "buttons"

Hmm..GPS is definitely working, well at least through speculation I think it is- if you update your weather, it'll locate your current location (maybe I'm wrong and it uses cell towers?).

Btw, very surprised about that because I'm in New York, was out in Little Italy last night and it found me in Little Italy- pretty nice to see that as a location lol

when you first flash,
a. run quick gps before syncing my weather
b. log into facebook before adding contacts
I have been doing it that way and I have no problem with the program..
hope this help

This clock flip thing is super annoying cause it seems to slow the phone down too.. In the MightyROM TP2 thread Mighty Mike posts two links to cabs that supposedly fix that issue on his ROM but didn't do it for me running Juicy's... Here they are though in case someone can get this working on this ROM..

Might Mike says:
Q: My clock twitches flips an hour back and forth?
A: Apristel has posted a fix for this: here
Also, was linked to this by ClevelWheeler.
Note: Both appear to work well.

Same here. I also had an issue where push exchange was not picking up new messages whilst I was on the home tab. However, the instant I moved to the mail tab it instantaneously started to sync. This has been happening on and off.

Hi all. I need some help here this Juicy's R2 rom. Everything else is great but the following:

1. Alarm would come on but goes off after 3 rings. It should never go off and it was fine with running Energy's rom. Any idea?
2. Holding the End Key does not work. Any fix for this?

Thanks,

Had this happen too. Don't click 'OK' and then go back into 'Select Networks' or else it defaults back to CDMA1X again.

Basically you set your carrier and select 'OK'. Then select 'OK' again and then click the 'X'. Now you should be able to test with the weather tab to see if you have a connection.

darren answered your question on how to find the 'all settings' option that will bring up your traditional personal/system/connections screen. You won't find "Long Key Press" though...it doesn't seem to be available lately. However, see below re: keyboard remapping.

The Task Manager is in the All Settings | System page, but a quicker way to access the HTC task manager settings, and how to minimize instead of close apps is to tap on the HTC task manager drop-down icon in the top RH corner from the home tab. When the pop-up dialog appears, tap the little wrench to access the task manager options screen.

Regarding your remapping of keys....there is a fantastic keyboard mapping tool, Rhodium Keyboard Controller. I've posted copied / pasted this next bit a few times lately, but what the heck...

According to twitter Gmail push users of all sorts are having intermittent problems. Personally, I have been seeing a general lack of push, or when it does push it comes hours late. When I know I have an email waiting and manually sync it will say it found an email on the server, but not download it. Hours later it will eventually download, but the new emails due in that time will be delayed.
