Other than that, so far R7 is running smoothly.

use psshutxp, or xda shutdown.

hi i'm new to custom rom thing. I customized my verizon tp2 with juicy r7, now i can't get my mms to work. I have tried a number of cab fixes on this site, and none of them have worked. I even tried other roms, and its not working. My question is with the nest build r8 will the mms be up and working. have anyone else had this problem. I know its a problem with custom roms.

I've never seen footprints work on any custom ROM i've tried.. The error you're receiving is what we all get...

Haha yea it was. But Copper seemed to be the best at the time, probably because its focus was speed and stability and just the OS. But yea man, seems so long ago.lol I remember Copper came out right before I switched from my Titan to my TP. And then I was like who are these Mighty Mike and Juicy47 guys?lol

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.80 (Windows Mobile; WCE; Opera Mobi/WMD-50301; U; en) Presto/2.4.13 Version/10.00)

Well first full day with rom and its running great. Im only at 60% after 12 hours uncharged. I used about 1.5 hours of talk time. Sent about 20 texts and used push mail. Great work on the rom silence.

Agreed. I do IT support for the county school system, and I can't have my phone chirping and beeping and ringing when I'm in the back of classroom working while students are trying to learn. :)

No, totally clean installs.

I only use SPB to restore an existing setup when I F it up. When I do a new ROM flash, I reinstall everything from scratch.

I found the fix and got the info and cabs from this thread http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ght=sprint+fix

All i did was uninstall the Mr. X cab that was already installed with the R6 Rom and then install the one from that thread, then install sprint tv and it worked for me.

You can take a picture, use "set as footprint" in the menu, then edit the name, add gps location (it opens google maps to select), add more details if needed.
Few steps but it works.

I am new to this forum and had a couple of questions before i attempt to download this.
1. Is there a possibility that this could brick my phone?
2. Does the youtube app work like it would normally?
3. When i unlock and flash this will my phone still work with verizon and have 3g data?
THANKS I APPRECIATE ANY HELP

Custom roms all have bugs, thats why there are so many builds. If you have verizon ur mms won't work. the fixes on this site don't help. and ur lucky to get a response.

I'm on Verizon and my MMS works fine with the fix posted on the forums. So you probably did something wrong. #-o

his thread title "first cdma landscape rom" is misleading... landscape isn't finished. you could do landscape with 1921 packages (he is using 1922) ... it's still not done.

think u could cfc compress the new manila files? i know mightys arent yet compressed, or maybe u should wait till r9? to make sure all the landscape portions and manila work right

why dont we just ask juicy to fix the carrier cabs so they do this automatically? i know for sprint nuthe server doesnt need all that extra crap and specific phone number, http://mms.sprintpcs.com works just fine for me

Thank you to the guys wanting HTC Messaging?

you are welcome. we ( the Geeks who got HTC Messaging) are very happy with our new update. i have no clue why you say R7 fail. it seems more like you fail by giving up. the steps are ALL over this thread. since R5 i have had zero issues with incoming / outgoing MMS.

if your trying to send through htc messaging its not gonna happen on sprint.

you need to send through native wm app.

HKLM>system>inbox>external accounts> change SMS to SMS.htc

use the wm native app to send/recieve. in arcsoft make sure your server settings are right and connect via Sprint. it should work. thats the way ive been setting mine up since R1 and its worked.
