only thing i have installed is

s2u2
s2p

microsoft myphone
phm reg editor
bg4all
and manilla disable flipping clock

seriously i thought i fought off this demon of a randomly non working keyboard when i ditched my touch pro lol

well i have all those installed - s2u2, s2p, and the flip clock fix. and no issues.

id hard reset and be sure you dont have a faulty kb though.

I know Juicy ROM is a no-fluff ROM, but I can't express how much I love FingerKeyboard2 with this ROM. I use SIPChange to make it the default. If you've never tried it, go get it here.

R6 however, is a bit unstable. My phone randomly reboots sometimes (no apps running). Not a big deal for me though.

yeah it works fine for me on every Juicy release.

after you install the battery driver you need to go in your start menu and i think the folder is named nue tools..........
go in there and click the only icon there is and you can change your settings to not round the battery percentage making it show 1% increments.

could you do me a favor and attached the exact file you used...because ive tried them all and have had no success getting them to work...

i wonder if having it in global mode (no setting it specifically to cdma) may have something to do with it

Thanks for the tip, sorry to hear about the reboots. Never had that problem with R6 and i have a lot of apps and games installed. Then again i always hard reset flash to stock rom, hard reset then flash to the new rom then hard reset the new rom after its installed to makes sure i have everything clean.

ive done that..and the flash dance and same results...

and im pretty sure its not the keyboard because i ran stock for a whole day while waiting for imei to get released to allow me to unlock and never had that issue...

ill just see how RC7 works for me when juicy releases...

glad i donated to get him a tp2 and i got one myself...more releases = more bug fixes

Are you using a taskbar that supports 1% increments for the battery?

That might be the problem. I don't think the stock taskbar supports 1% increments. You will have to install one that does and see if that's the problem.

Try one of these:

I'd recommend one of tsowens:

Failing that, are you doing a hard reset / clear storage after you flash? Some say this is a crock...others swear by it....personally I can vouch for the procedure from experience.

I just did a hard reset and it still freezes on some soft resets. I notice in the windows\startup folder there is a ton of apps in there by default. Maybe these are causing it to hang at the home screen? Are all these apps needed? Which ones can I remove?

If you don't like the Quick Task manager, you can use the one from the Xperia X2, I've attached it.

I like that one too. Is there a way to keep that icon there? I dont want the "X" or "ok" there just the task manager there no matter what screen I'm in. I would rather hit that icon and close the app from the list rather than having to go ALL the way back to TF3D to get the Task manager.

Got it from the HD2 2.01 dump. Been testing a ROM with most of the packages from it for the past few days. Runs amazing so far!

I have been following Juicy's Rom since day one and all his work is amazing and always ahead of the rest! I have been hesitant to install a manila 2.5 rom on my touch pro 2 because it is not optimized for landscape and i like to use my touch pro 2 keyboard which is one of its virtues as i think it has the best one. One question i have is if anybody thinks there will be a landscape option soon for manila 2.5 roms.

Manila 2.5 not having a landscape mode doesn't affect anything but manila itself. You can use landscape on every other part of the device. On a side note, just try a Juicy ROM and you'll be hooked.

So can i use my touch pro 2 keyboard for texting, email and web on manila 2.5? I dont really care for any other features being landscape like home or weather or anything that you dont need the keyboard for. But i think that if by installing manila 2.5 you lose keyboard functionality on the TP2 then for me it cripples it. Manila 2.5 is beautiful and the video looks amazing, but i need to have my TP2 keyboard functionality.

well since the disable htc messaging cab is in the rom the sms tab is nothing more than a place to read your sms. only in manilla is there no landscape. email and sms work fine in landscape as do all other wm apps.

i still use the keyboard a lot with manilla 2.5 roms. manilla doesnt take over windows its just a nice coverup to look at lol.

Yea, it works perfect in R3 (with Verizon) also (the messaging tab works correctly, MMS send from the HTC app etc etc).

I never updated past R3 (with Dusk theme) because everything works perfectly for me in R3 (this is the first time I have ever been 100% totally happy with any system) & I'm done updating until some exciting new feature comes out that you have to update to get.

My son has an eNv3 & we sent/received MMS pics all day yesterday with me using the HTC app & the way it worked you would have thought it was the factory setup.
