I have a ringer problem as well, but it is directly related to Opera mobile beta 2 update. I try it with a fresh R6, the ringer works, then i install Opera b2u, the ringer stop working, after I uninstall that. it work again :-(

have u installed any 3rd party audio apps? if so which?

Yeah, I do have Core Player on the phone. I have discovered some more information though.

All the pre-installed ringers are indicating corrupt. I was able to put a new wav ringer onto my phone, (in the root) and the phone is now ringing again for unknown callers with that ringer. An easy way to test what is going on is to switch out of Sense. In Sence mode, it will let you sample and select a broken ringer. But is Windows mode, if you try to select a broken ringer, it will give you the corrupt message. There was one preinstalled ringer that did work. Something with dogs barking and maybe one other. Both were in the root. So maybe there is something to do with that.

ive noticed that as well. i have coreplayer installed and read another thread with a similar problem and they said the problem is caused by something screwing with some file associations. i noticed a few of my wma files (the text one most notably) alert-faderhigh also breaks, however my alarm-beeps always works for my reminders. ive been using a custom mp3 i cabbed up and havent had the issue yet since these last 2 flashes

nevermind, i just noticed i missed a call cuz the ringer didnt ring and was holding my phone in my hand when a 2nd call came in, it vibrated but no ring ring.....hmmmmm, and this is witha custom mp3 set as ringtone. i just changed a few video associations in coreplayer but didnt touch any audio, ill soft reset now and hope the ringer sticks til we find a definative fix for this serious problem

yea i also had ringer problems, still youtube problems! and also could not use custom bootup screens(dont know why) :-)

but anyways although i like juicy rom and his work, i found rom that "better for me" that fixes those problems and is fast and stable!

keep up the work juicy and ill probably be back if R7 doesnt have those problems! (especially the youtube volume problem grrr!) :-)

Hey i had a question my weather app use to work perfectly fine until i took i trip home to houston and it showed my city at first... but after a couple of days now it just shows texas as the city and it doesnt show katy texas is in its list of weather cities along with other cities that use to be there any suggestions?

It just doesn't recognize Katy as a place, more or less.

I had the same problem where I would go from Rochester, NY to work (in Webster, NY) and it would only display New York. This changed about a week ago, and the town was correctly identified, so maybe there's a chance that whatever way the My Location draws city information will sometime soon add Katy to its list. But even if they don't, there's nothing wrong with your weather function, nor with the information it provides concerning the weather.

I just started having a ringer problem I never had before.

I am running R3 & everything has been working perfectly until just a few days ago when incoming calls abruptly stopped ringing.

I have ALWAYS had it set to vibrate & ring with a custom real loud MP3 ringtone & it always worked fine. Now, it is still vibrating, but itt won't rng anymore (although the ringtone works fine in the settings menu where you pick the ringtone)

Hey thanks for the quick reply but is the weather app still fine even if it showed katy when i first arrived but not anymore?

Same here.

I live in Rochester (Penfield) & work at AuctionDirect in Victor.

My weather will show Rochester at times in any of these locations although the actual weather info displaying is ALWAYS correct.

I've pinned ringer issues to the phone settings screen. If you modify your voicemail number or any of the CDMA settings, you will always get a corrupted ringer error.

Did you install opera mobile 10 beta 2u? (Not beta 2) I have tested it for sure that it does break the ringers. If you install it, ringers work until the next time you soft reset. If you uninstall it though ringers come right back. So I went back to using beta 2 for now.

Will HTC messaging still be disabled in R7?

Has anyone been able to get the VZ visual voicemail working correctly either? Where the text messages for it don't show up or the sound comes out the earpiece instead of the speakerphone speaker?

1. I hope the Leo Manila build is included, I see no reason not to have it.
2. I've gotten footprints to work, it is just testy. Don't ask how I did it, I don't know what setting allowed it to work.
3. Hope phone settings app is fixed, check around to see how other cooks fixed the auto prepend and international prepend as well as the ringer corruption issue.
4. I just wanted to let you know, good luck; we're all counting on you.

P.S. If you cook out HTC messaging I will invent a device to slap you across the Internet.

htc messaging is back in ... u can still use arcsoft through E-Mail icon...

build number will be 21887

this is shaping up to be a really great release lol.

hope it comes before dinner as well. the wife gets all mad when im late for dinner and im sitting there setting up my phone in between taking bites of food lmao.
