sounds like a great build. htc messaging hasn't been laggy at all after installing it back on in r6. hpefully it'll be just as smooth in r7. thanks juicy.

Juicy can you use dropbox instead of rapidshare? You can put the file into your Public dropbox folder and then link the URL.

I agree Rapid share sucks...but I PAID to be a premium member just for Juicy's roms :thumbleft: (it's still slow though)...but I guess whatever helps the masses is good...

I am sure it is appreciated but I am sure as a chef Juicy just wants to make sure it is an untampered file that the public can trust on. If he lets it be hosted elsewhere then if for whatever reason, not saying you would, but tampered with the file and started to brick phones people would start bitching at Juicy, being as everyone bitches when things out of his control mess up. So if I was Juicy as well I would use a public service instead of a host. Knowing if something screws up it is by my doing.

This is just my opinion, and may not be Juicy's.

Yea but there is are a few unlimited bw file hosting sites that he could use. :) Rapidshare just plain sucks for download speed.

I was being altruistic.

Whatever, it's the last time I'll offer it for Juicy. I'll still mirror it and if he wants, he can post a MD5/SHA-1/SHA256 hash for his ROMs to prove they haven't been tampered with. Most download accelerators support hashing functions.

XDA_UC & Juicy ROM FAQ's

Q - I press "Customize" and nothing happens

A - You haven't set up XDA_UC! Create a directory on your SD card titled "XDA_UC". Throw all of you cab's, reg's, xmls, mortscripts and manila files in there. You are no longer bound to only customizing your device at startup. You are also freed from having to worry about proof reading your sdconfig.txt file. XDA_UC takes care of everything by doing bulk installs silently, after you press "Customize" on my ROM (it runs a slightly modified script developed by Noonski.

Should just be an added documents tab that I disable anyways. Not sure what else. NRG claims its the fastest sense build to date, but I don't notice a difference.

What still freezes? The music tab? Mine has never frozen. It takes a long time on the first use to scan your music library, but after that, it's quick.

It freezes when playing music. So yours has never frozen? It will still have the pause sign like it's still playing but no music will be coming out after about 2-5 songs. you have to press pause and play again.

On another note, why is there a folder for calls with only a sim manager inside of it? LOL. Why isn't that just put into tools. Also, the HTC settings menu is enable. DOH!!!

Any of you having problems scrolling up and down on the messaging tab? Sometimes mine won't let me scroll at all. If I go to another tab and come back, it starts to work.

the footprints tab still dosnt work... it says it is unable to initialize camera. failed to set up the camera device. Will this ever work?

also the weather location still doesn't say the city im in. I live in saskatoon and all it says is saskatchewan. The temperature is right but doesn't say my exact location :(
