Perhaps it should be under a "Known Issues" section of the first post? I mean, I know Sense UI is ported, but this IS a thread/forum for just the Touch Pro2, so the question is bound to come up.

And like I said before elsewhere, a subforum for a ROM would have great benefits and make searching much easier.

The search function on this site is pretty much useless. You can't search such words as cab, ui, rom,......... and to make things worse, the search engine gives you hundreds of useless posts that have nothing to do with the topic.

well it has been posted a lot on several 2.5 threads... kinda hard to miss IMO but ok i guess it can be...

you can always read a few pages of a thread and find most answers.


and the search is not great but it can help if you know how to use it...

I am new to rom's and stuff but I cant even get this to install. I open romupdate utility and it restarts the phone and it sits at 0 percent and nothing happens till it says to remove the battery and try again essentially. i even did a hard reset on my sprint rom before to see if that helped, nope. any suggestions? i have yet to hear about anyone with this issue.

Anyone have any idea how I can map the end button such that it always takes me to the home screen? I noticed that whenever I am in a contact card, I always have to press the back arrow instead to get out of it. The end key is unresponsive.

I am using the ts owen v3.1 taskbar icons (tsowentaskbar6v3.1) and the modification for the 1% battery status.

In Juicy R1, everything works without a problem.

In Juicy R2, the connection icon does not show any bars.

Anyone know what the problem is...? Can I back out the change in the R2 build after flashing it....?

I think this happened because the signal icons were changed to the 6.5 ones in R2. I think we are still getting service, bars are just not showing up. I myself had not dropped any calls or had data issues.

Is anyone else having trouble with push Gmail? (i.e. Gmail exchange sync) I can't tell if it's the phone or if it's gmail having a bad day..

EDIT: just did a twitter search, seems the past couple days a lot of iPhone users have had trouble, which is the same time frame as me. But no one mentioned WinMo, anyone mind running a few test emails? TIA!

im using same taskbar, mine works fine. after you dl the quick gps cab i posted, try juicys again, it works now.

if i tell ya i gota kill ya. lol its the wvga game thats a blast, i just got terminator salvation,spiderman, asphault4 hd racing and 2010 golf, all killer wvga games. racing games are onscreen landscape paddle steering. persia hd also. kills time at work.

Correct, my service is fine too. It's only a problem with the icons. I have had no data issues or call problems either.

I flashed the rom and its very very slow, cant figure it out, ive tried other roms and they seem very fast, but i dont like theres your struck me as down right sexy. Ill flash it agian and see wht happens. Any one experience this yet?

thats because this 2.5 was made for the hd2, wasnt ment for our phones. imo it works faster than i thought, thanks juicy

did any users of this ROM increase there pagepool per say, and what benefits anre you getting, versus RAM / Memory
also did any body installed SDcerts cab?

I bumped it to 32. I can't say I see any significant differences. It ran pretty good for me with a default page pool of 15 as well.

nope, not sure why they would, load them on sd card. i got like 20 games loaded with no issues.

I think in the new builds the X button can't be set to close applications anymore. Don't hold me to that though...

What mod are you using to get the multiple icons at the bottom bud? That is exactly what I was wanting to do, is use something 4 columns and have more on the screen.

I don't like the newer 6.5.1 builds either, but it isn't going away, seems like sooner or later we are gonna have to just accept the inevitable and move forward so that it can be cleaned up and bug free heh.

I think there is mention of this almost on every page if you just read heh. But no 2.5 HTC MMS doesn't work but look at the first page of the thread it is plainly mentioned that there is a fix to use the older wm mms.

Is it stable??? If so, I vote for a release! I am sure a lot of people will go for the speed, even though they might not like the new layout......
