Re: [ROM] Juicy Rhodium_W R2 [SENSE UI][XDA_UC]

Im having problems with all my audio files being corrupted. Ive tried to softreset as this fixed it before, but no haps the only thing that fixes it is a hard reset. Ive already searched both here and xda, google as well but no noe seems to know how to fix this. I'm thinking it may be an issue with spb backup but it's the only program that I use as pimbu seems to screw other stuff up. Any suggestions would be helpful. I still like this rom over energy does more of what I want it to.

Yes, I noticed that also.

I recently reflashed back to MM from this setup & my battery life improved noticeably.

I loved a lot about this ROM myself, but with the MMS bugs, laggy home screen, lower battery life etc. I decided to wait until it's been updated a few versions & then try again.

Battery life has been excellent for me. I had CFay's rom on it and it too had great battery life until the ringers wouldn't work anymore. I soft-reset several times and still no success, so I flashed to Juicy's.

Juicy said R3 will be out sometime this week. Be patient and you will be given a nice treat soon enough. :)

It is in this forum under the software catagory. = am on sprint network and my arcsoft is working. I just did the step by step setup that can be found in one of the earlier pages. I have smms installed as a backup. They both work for me though.

I was thinking the exact same thing...I'm on Sprint and that's what i've always used...works perfectly fine. Manila Messaging alerts me that i have a MMS message, and I simply open sMMS to sync with the sprint server and it downloads my pics fine...I can send from it as well...

It's interesting how our phones can be so different...

I started with MM and although battery life was fine it didn't seem too different from stock...I've been VERY happy with Juicy's ROM and can get through the day with 70-80% battery left vs. stock/MM around 50%...and I don't notice the lag on Juicy's ROM that some of you have mentioned...

I don't know if it matters but I have not installed any kind of custom taskbar, etc so maybe that makes a difference...

At any rate, I went from MM -> Leo ROM -> Juicy and am staying put...

Kudos to Juicy!

First time "juicer" here...and loving it so far. Flashed last night...just about finished with "manually" customizing. I love it!

Have noticed that the battery usage is a little high compared to MM (not a deal breaker)

Love the speed...its fast and its smooth.

Only complaint is that the flip clock fix didn't work...but I'll deal with it...did I say it was fast??

Looking forward to R3 :headbang:

Hi Juicy,

I hope no one mentioned this already but not sure if this is a result of the manila 2.5 but when playing music through the music tab and the sleeping the phone the volume up/down don't adjust the volume. You have to turn the screen on then adjust volume. Missing that feature from 2.1 :(

Can this be resolved in R3 or is does the HTC Leo not have external volume up/down buttons?

Re: [ROM] Juicy Rhodium_W R2 [SENSE UI][XDA_UC]

Has anyone hacked the Sense UI so that on the Mail tab, the account and compose buttons are on the left side? I hold my phone with my left hand, and it'd be nice to be able to hit those with my left thumb.

I have not seen it mentioned yet, Does anyone know of or has disabled the default Lock Screen. It's takes way too long to initiate when you turn the phone back on; plus I prefer S2U2

+1 I followed the same flashing pattern as you did and hafta agree that this Juicy ROM is a good place to stay put awhile. Very stable, pretty quick enough, no lagginess and very acceptable battery life. All day no worries. Great ROM Juicy!(can't get enough of that juicy avatar btw! sweet!))

If you just flashed it last night, you won't see actual battery usage until you've recharged a few times. My battery life got significantly better after several charge cycles.

In the video showing this rom it shows the world card mobile application. How do I get it put on my phone now. Is there a way to copy it off my original rom or is there a way to reinstall it. I am with Telus.

No. Is there a cricket carrier cab? Or should I use the Sprint/Verizon one and change the settings?

This is my favorite rom so far. Question, at first boot, I'm asked to select provision... I selected sprint. Do I still need to install the carrier cab?

also, groovefish doesn't seem to work on this rom.

No that is the carrier cab. Juicy integrated it with R2. In R1 they were separate...

To disable the phone keypad vibration try:
HKLM\Software\HTC\PHONE\PhoneExtendSetting\KeyPadVibration = 0

I have to agree, Juicy's rom is a good rom to sit on. As you all said, it's fast, stable, and has just the right amout of apps. I have to admit though, I did cheat on it and flashed to that mouse guy's rom last night but it was just a one night stand. I went back to Juicy's rom and am loving it.
