tried to upload pictures to facebook via mms but was not successful. Original rom allowed large size but this one is limited....didn't test small files to see if the size was an issue or not.

I had my first attempt to flash do the same thing. Second attempt sailed through. Make sure Windows picked it up in activesync/WMDC properly...

hey juicy quick question and after you answere it ill will help you and your prefection that your trying to create lol the XDA_UC do you just create a fold on your SD card named XDA_UC and put your cabs and xmls and reg in there and then hit the custimaztion button?

I can tomorrow, but I can say that stock worked, and there was no difference at all for me between R1 and R2. Exactly the same in every way, if that helps. Maybe it's just my laptop, although Juicy on the TP was able to work with it just fine ;)

I've got working mms through standard windows and I do all my texting through manila.

ok thank you and now for you some things would you could do if it was possible since we cant get landscape to work in manilia you could try for that one suggestion where some one said use the touch pro style landscape where when you slide it out on manilia it would give you those quick menus for like mess,text,email,notes,ect if you want to put somewhat of a spin in your rom. just a suggestion.

As far as bugs go, I think surely it is related to the MMS stuff and will be resolved, but currently get lockups occasionally when I get an SMS in the HTC window and I tap the screen to bring up HTC Messaging and when I tap screen to reply and slide my keyboard it will lock up. Unfortunately not every time so just a random bug, and again, maybe this will be fixed all together with the MMS fixes and such hopefully.

Only other thing which I think has been mentioned is the Signal Bar. It usually only shows your signal strength when you are on a call or something, but when idle it just shows the data arrows. Someone mentioned that was a DLL problem.

Memory does still seem to creep up a bit, which I don't know if that is just the nature of 2.5 or if there is possibly some sort of leak, I know in R1 that was due to the Resource Proxy, but I believe you turned that off in R2. So not sure if anyone else experience this, seems like some said they did, and a friend of mine and mine as well seem to do it. Doesn't really seem to affect things too much but then again I am getting occasional lockups in SMS. I haven't gotten ANY lockups anywhere else.

Can't think of anything else, as usually you make a fine ROM so not usually too many complaints.

Hi Juicy,

As for bug fixes go here are my personal findings, (and can't confirm which issues are directly related to 2.5 manila):

1. From what I've noticed under settings- all settings- sounds & notifications you can't change the "Flash light for" for the "Message: New message" event.

2. Can't adjust the volume up/down using the hardware keys on the side while playing music in the music tab and the screen in sleep mode.

3. Difficult/inconsistent with getting back to home or exiting the sms tab after sending a text. Could be that hitting the end key doesn't bring you home. My best route is hitting "start" then "today" to get me back quickly.

4. Youtube volume issues, but you seem to have covered.

5. Under system- power- backlight. Dragging the sliders to the right keeping pushing me back to the battery tab.

6. Animated weather wallpaper shows lag after certain customizations. Haven't determined which exact ones. Noticed the animations were smooth like butter when first flashing. After doing all the usual customizations the weather wallpaper is unusable but the regular animated ones are fine. Seems to have slowed after linking my contact list with Facebook but can't be certain. I've also heard this is only an isolated issued and not everyone suffers from this.

1. Flip clock jumping around during animations (I think mighty just got a fix 4 his)
2. Opera re: zoom bar (maybe a newer version)

love your stuff & can't wait! XDA UC is the best thing ever! I don't know why none of the other major players are doing it here for cdma tp2. sdconfig has nothing on it.

Edit: Scrolling could be smoother (in start menu, etc.) and rotating in opera & email seemed delayed. Oh, and #2 & #5 from pistol44 (above)

when playing music on the music tab. when you go to change the volume via the hardware buttons the volume bar on the left would come up blank for me. it was working in R1.

Hey CovKid66, thanks a bunch - I'm on Verizon so it worked a treat. I also have a Tilt on AT&T and never had the problem before. Perhaps the option is not on the GSM tab because its not necessary?

It's been mentioned a few times in this thread. The keyboard sliding sounds don't work for Sprint. Not sure about other carriers.

-Hi. I just flashed the new Nov. 10th, 2009 MightyROM on my TP2(Verizon) and I am getting this Warning saying:
“Divice is registering on a voice service only network. Data services are currently unavailable.” but the phone still works fine with full reception and excelent call quality and data transfer. (thow i am in a roaming area)
-Bigest problem is, is that I am getting this Warning no matter what CDMA ROM I flash (Energy/Mighty/Cfey/E-rice/Y4J) except if I flash back the “verizon Stock ROM”.
-And it only happens when I am in areas where my phone is usualy roaming (wich is the case of where I live. I am 15 Miles away from a actual Verizon 3G coverage area.)
Please if anyone can help me get rid of this bothersome warning messege i would much apretiate it.

Yeah for the last week at work I dont even try to use my phone anymore unless I turn the phone radio off (but then whats the point?) I know when I turn it back on that damn msg is waiting for me and will never go away

Hi Juicy,

Woke up this morning, to find 2 more bugs I seem to experience frequently. Thought I'd mention them anyway.

I never get new email notifications on the default lock screen. Had 4 email over night and only displayed an old vmail I still haven't checked.

As well my I have my emails set to sync "as items arrive" but that never seems to be the case. Don't know if the issue is with hotmail but I get emails now sometimes a half day after they are actually sent.

I've heard the the flip clock issues are not bugs but just a little showing off of animation from HTC.. Some just don't like it doing that so they made a cab to prevent it.

thanks for the info juice.. this is my first world phone and im not sure how it supposed to behave outside the us, but under cdma settings its definetely data or voice (not both) like when in the us.o unless something is wrong with my settings. do you know what the gsm setings are for data retrieval? it tries to dial #777 but i know that is wrong, am i supposed to change something manually?..thanks for any and all info!

Interestingly, my sdconfig folder with a config.txt file still runs when you initiate customization. This is great because it gives you the best of both worlds.

this rom has the email notification led bug where it blinks with new email regardless of the setting in the sounds and notifications area. mike had the same bug in his rom but was fixed in the latest update.

I just reflashed to the latest Juicy Rom R2. I chosed Sprint cab at start up but the ICS does not work, says invalid username/pwd. Wireless Router option works but I rather use ICS. Anyone can help with that?

Just something minor I noticed, maybe others have too. I couldn't sift through 120+ pages to find out.

When you go to:
Settings-->System-->Device Info-->About
it is improperly linked to the power settings

Just throwin that out there.

It's a known issue that the Sprint carrier cab breaks ICS. Either use the WiFi Router or don't provision your phone...personally I chose the later and it works great...

is it possible to change the orange windows image when the device starts? also, is it possible to add an animated startup image like the one here? i've read that the animated startup image is located in the windows folder and is called SPCS_480x800.gif (for sprint phones), but i dont think that file is on this ROM.

Why would you ever want to risk messing with your phones stability/performance for a graphic that you'll never see?? Do you restart your phone multiple times a day?
