Sounds like carrier provision is missing. Try to run the provision cab again.

The cab is from JMD's provisioning thread.

Please make a ROM with the new 6.5.1 build on it......

Do it for your fans :-)

Problems here too. I wasn't on R1 for long but thought the BT improved...possibly the placebo effect or just a fluke. However, using R2 for a couple of days only and this morning BT went haywire with MSVC. Pressed my headset button, heard the MSVC beep, spoke slowly and loudly and said "dial nnn-nnn-nnnn" and it came back with a completely different number. Tried again and this time it asked for confirmation to dial a contact from my address book...totally unreleated contact. It would not accept my "No" command when MSVC asked me to confirm. It did that repeatedly. I ended up dialling the number manually from the phone. Then I tried to call it back using the last number redial feature of the headset (tap and hold main button), but it did a MSVC prompt instead. And I had intermittent hang-up results when tapping the headset button. Worked half the time, and on other attempts I had to tap it a couple of times before it would hang up. It has t obe this Motorola H710 headset...but it's our company standard unfortunately!

Anyway, I'm doing a clear storage this AM anyway for other reasons...first time I ever used PPCBackup and it doubled up every contact, calendar, task, and note in Outlook the first time I active synced !!! Thought I'd try a backup instead of always syncing back everything from scratch. Guess I thought wrong :( Point is, I'll see if BT is any more reliable next time round.

Try using MyPhone to backup your data. I used to to use PIMBackup, and still do as an extra, but MyPhone handles syncing well and has a built in feature to detect duplicate contacts/calendar items and delete them. It's pretty useful.

I like this Rom alot! Very stable, just doesn't do everything I would like a rom to do!
I believe this R2 rom is the most stable out there right now.

I am still not getting the autolock to work with the backlight button.... I hard-reset and reflashed the R2 ROM... Before the first soft-reset after the reflash, it worked, but after that it doesn't. Is there a registry entry I can play with? I really like this feature.

Heres a link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505032
This CAB installs an icon in the All Settings->System->Smart Lock, that you can use to change all the various settings for the screen lock.

you can use smartlock to lock on suspend.

When I open a Youtube video at the Opera, it open YOUTUBE playback window, and not Streaming media. And when the video finishes it close Opera...this is another issue to take at the R3 development...

The registry settings are located at:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\LockScreen
The entry needed for suspend is:
"Suspend"=dword:00000001

Need to Soft Boot after change.

The entry needed for lock on suspend is missing with Juicy R2. I think he was getting a lot of complaints from others that didn't like it.

The CAB files places all registry entries back in and give a UI way to edit them.

Hope this helps.

Doesn't exist...IMO! Even stock roms aren't completely stable. But ignore me...I'm just a cynical pessimist :)

Try 'em all and see which you prefer. That's what it's all about :)

I think this Rom is great. It has been extremely stable and I have not come across any issues besides the ones already known from TF3d 2.5.

Keep up the great work Juicy!

i love this rom, its mad quick and the way it looks is jus fresh. the only problems i have are it froze a few times and i rebooted then it came back with a black screen and part of the orange windows phone backgrond across the top. i think it was the autolock screen cuz if i tapped the screen on the black part it would make that annoyhing ting noise almot like a pin. id have to soft reset about 2-3 more times to get away from that screen. and the other thing is the mms not working, the new 2.5 manila for it is mad nice but i can only use it for txts. ive tried all the arcsoft cabs and changing the servers, reg edits for the mms max size but it still doesnt work. im using the stock wm mms again but the manila one is real nice. could it be that the reg edits for max size and the max size for mms in the manila dont match? i set the reg to 5mb, and manila can only select upto 1024 kb/ 1mb? jus some insight. but its still a bomb ROM.

so you have already done the disable htc messaging thing?

if arcsoft is already installed go into your txt msgs and go to pics/video options > CDMA servers tab > and click on whatever the server thats listed and ensure that the server addy is http://mms.sprintpcs.com/servlets/mms.

also should be port 80.

Re: [ROM] Juicy Rhodium_W R2 [SENSE UI][XDA_UC]

Comparing the R2 with R1.. performance as noted improved on homescreen animations and tabs.

However I noticed the lag came back which was there on R1 after making some customizations. I've been trying to isolate the performance it and noticed firstly that adding more than 1 program shortcut to the homescreen significantly slowed down the animated weather on the homescreen and tab scrolling.

I continued customizing while trying to maintain the same performance (as after hard reset) and installed programs and customized options one by one checking the animations in between. I lost track once I linked my facebook acct to my contact list and now the lag is back.

Not sure exactly what causes it but there is something specific that causes the tab scrolling and animated homescreen to lag significantly. Wish I knew exactly what it was.

settings tab > all settings > today and make sure today timeout is unchecked on the items tab. i was getting some pretty bad lag last night when i realized it was checked. unchecked it and theres no lag at all now.

Small bug in R2...

From the Settings tab, tap 'About Phone', then tap on 'About', and Opera launches and you get version information. All is good.

However, if you go to 'All Settings', then to the 'System' page, then tap 'Device Information', it pulls up the exact same sub-menu as the 'About Phone' screen above did, but this time when you select 'About', the Power app opens instead. Strange but true.

Well guess I spoke too soon, so I just reflashed R2 to try out the "hard battery reset technique" and now when I try to install that VGA quick GPS cab you linked I get the following error:

"Installation was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficent system permissions."

Any idea why this is showing up, and how I can force the program to install? Thanks.

I had to install the zenyee disable htc messaging cab to get my mms to work and it does but for some reason when there is a pic to be viewed it just shows the windows icon for the pic. Also if I want to send a pic it shows all my pic on the phone as the same windows icon for a pic. It will play any sounds though that are on the mms...anyone else have this problem after the fix?

Ok... one more MMS question. I already installed the cab on the first page. When i get an MMS message i click on it in the main today screen (third icon from the left), it takes me to the message. I tap to view the vid, but nothing happens.
So then i got o start> messages. Tap on the message. I see text history and the last one is the one i'm trying to watch/get. I tap on it again. The first thing i see is a reminder about downloading the message. I tap on menu and then download. What next? How do i get my vid?
