On another note, why is there a folder for calls with only a sim manager inside of it? LOL. Why isn't that just put into tools. Also, the HTC settings menu is enable. DOH!!!

Any of you having problems scrolling up and down on the messaging tab? Sometimes mine won't let me scroll at all. If I go to another tab and come back, it starts to work.

Mine hasn't ever really locked up. The most it's done is cut-off the end of a few songs and I can't even say that it's the fault of the software. It has one problem with a single song where it just stops after that, but I found that after some long period of time it went on to play the next song. I'm talking 15 minutes+ though. Most of my music is in HE-AAC v2, the rest in HE-AAC or MP3.

Im about to flash this new version; anyone have any issues with leaky memory and poor battery life. im currently using build 21887 and this is exactly what i have to deal with. My external battery pack has saved my day at work.

also the weather location still doesn't say the city im in. I live in saskatoon and all it says is saskatchewan. The temperature is right but doesn't say my exact location :(

I find that the little toggle slider for the HTC location manager that collects location info on recent GPS info makes location pretty inaccurate and jumps around. turn that off and keep the location service enabled. That way, GPS is fired up and you get an accurate location every time.

I also think that Google has updated their method of naming locations in Google Maps. That's where the location info comes from for HTC. Mine used to say my nearest city or the city attached to my ZIP code, but now it says Prarie. I live in a sort-of district of my county called Prarie Township, so I'm guessing that Google has changed it to show townships and voting districts as well. But technically, I should be in Van Buuren. I won't fault them, as where I live is right on the corner of like four ZIP codes, four city associations with the USPS, and about 5 townships.

I found the provisioning, I guess it pops up on a flash. But where do you go if you left your phone while it was flashing and for some reason or another it soft reset on it's own and you didn't see it???

I've found that doing a hard-reset on this phone after flashing has mattered more than any other phone I've ever owned is necessary to kill ghosts from previous flashes. Do that.

yeah its weird how that works since saskatoon is the biggest city in my province so you think it would pick it up! Is there a way to disable the automatic location for the weather and manually select a location like on the non sence UI roms and have the location and weather show up on the weather clock on the home screen? hope that makes sence

on the home screen click menu then hit " enable my location" then it should update. make sure your quick gps program is updated first as well.

Yeah it didn't seem to work by default... but I clicked "menu" on the bottom right when I was on the weather tab, then "enable my location" and then it worked... also running the quick gps (start>tools>quick gps) helps speed it up.

Just create a XDA_UC folder and put all your files in there. If you want them to install on to your SD card, create a SD folder within XDA_UC and put the cabs, etc there. Once done, launch Customize...and wait for it to install everything...pretty damn quick, and slick!

Ok, another issue I'm having is installing/running the Garmin Mobile XT app. Never had an issue with it at all before.

When I try to install it I get the inital agree dialog then just get the spinning in progress indicator and it never goes any further. Damn, this is a problem for me. I use this quite a bit. Was loving this ROM till this.

Can't seem to send SMS/MMS (Even after manual settings) on Sprint with new R7. On SMS I can receive fine but it just holds when trying to send then fails. Is it due to caving on the HTC Messaging, its trash? Fix? I removed Sense due to it being crap and replaced with SPB MS 3.5.2...

R6 was excellent but not sure why its actin up now.

Re: [ROM] [12/27/09] Juicy Rhodium_W R7 (21887) [SENSE UI] [XDA_UC]

couple of things ive noticed

1. the facebook albums doesnt work - not a big deal

2. the old trick for importing your texts from myphone service kinda half way sorta works...disable threaded texts, restore texts, allow to populate, enable threaded texts and restart...the texts arent there in conversation mode...but are there in classic mode...

3. htc messaging seems really slow...like when i click on a message to reply i have to wait 3-5 seconds before i can reply (im going to flash to stock then back to RC7 to see if that clears it up)

4.installing any psShutXP programs installs correctly but doesnt attach itself to the power button...the stock powerdown warning program is triggered and i have to manually change it myself...(could be a bad .cab)

how many txt do you have? 500+ and you will start to see some lag in the HTC messaging app.

Juicy's roms have never really been laggy. At least with stuff he can control. HTC messaging seems to be working a lot better. But I haven't hit that 500+ mark as I just cleared yesterday. Other than that, this rom is definitely not going to dissapoint.

Did you do anything special to install it?

**EDIT**
Ok I did a hard reset and after I installed it as the first thing after the carrier provisioning and it seems to work. I'll have to see what screwed it up prior.

**EDIT 2**
It seems to have to do with memory. When running Sense with Max Manila 2.7, I have 50%+ memory used. When I had 52% memory used, Garmin wouldn't start saying I was low on memory. I'm guessing this was why I was unable to install it earlier too.

After rebooting I initially had %50 used and was able to get Garmin to run fine. So the magic number is around 50% or so memory needed for it to work.
