Oh it'll take about 30 seconds. I don't use a converter or anything, I just use WinCE Cab Manager and put the files where they need to be and then import the app.reg and then it's done.

Juicy, I think this would be something good to look into. The Facebook albums are one of the awesome features of 2.5, and it was working in R1 so we can't be far from the answer.

Please let us know what comes to mind when you think of changes that might have caused this so we can come up with a fix.

i think the best bet is to find a r1 dl and look threw the reg an such to see if there are any changes as i'm sure juicy is busy... so if we can find it then tell him bout it... maybe it'll be easier 4 him to fix

Odds are it won't work by itself, it probably needs HTC text selection and all those other ones.... But who knows.

does anyone have any ideas as to why i can't toggle my data connection to "on". i'm on the R6 build, sprint provisioned and profile/PRL cab installed.

not 2 sure, but i just checked mines an it works. so data doesnt work @ all 4 you? u cant use the internet or is it just the toggle? data did work before this rom? do you have any cabs or reg files installed? or is this after a fresh flash? if its after a fresh flash try hard reset an skip carrier. if you have cabs installed try hard reset w/ sprint carrier an see if it works

the internet is not working for me at all with the ROM unless via wifi. i've done several attempts after a fresh flash, carrier provision (sprint) and only the profile/PRL cab installed. my data works fine with the stock, mighty & nrg ROMS. i love the look of this and would run it if i can find out how to get the data connection started.

finally jumping into custom rom with my TP2, Sprint taking too long to release WM6.5...

So far 2 errors i've noticed

1) Landscape doesn't work in TP2 (i'm guessing you have to self apply the fixes)
2) Selecting a sms message in the browser won't bring you to the dialog like it used to

So far rom is a bit sluggish, so might switch back

Ok. Done. 1st go around didnt work, so i had to hard reset again and then we were golden.


1st. Flash r6 then hard reset for clean install. Soft reset
2nd. Install the Htc Client included in this post. Soft reset
3rd. Change the SMS in system/inbox/externalaccount to SMS.htc
4th. (optional) re-install the acrosoft native client. Before i did not do this with the older version of the HTC Messaging Client and it worked, but i wanted to be safe and reinstall. Soft Reset!

5th. Install the MMS Fix for Sprint for MMS to be sent and recieved. Soft RESET!

Presto! We Done and its stable enough for me. Remember to view MMS you have to open the message thru your manila tab then hit all messages or hit your email icon thru the start menu.

Landscape works well and responsive, i just rotated the phone and its switched into landscape, you can also slide the phone open and no lock ups, so far. R6 is much faster than R5 as i flashed yesterday and can see a big difference.

Although this is somewhat of what I was looking for, I would like to retain the larger tabs (3 wide). Is there a cab to add more, yet keep them this size?

why not map the long end key to the windows lock screen. thats what ive done when im listening to music and then after a minute or whatever i have it set as the screen goes off and music continues to play and since the lock is on. I dont have to worry about pocket dialing someone or anything else.

No need for the mr x cab as it is already incorporated in the rom as juicy's provisioning cab for each carrier. no need to install twice.

I've been testing for about 4 hours now and this Rom(r6) With the HTC Messaging Client installed with the method i posted previously, and is the fastest i've seen. No lag in my opinion i flip thru all the tabs, playing music, on the internet, and texting switching between landscape and portait and its FAST!!:headbang:

slide to shutdown has a "screen off" option, it maps to top power button for ya, hit the paperclip after rom title, cabs probably posted there.

how do I get the lock screen to pop up OTHER then going to the start menu and hitting lock, I reallly like that screen but wish there was a way to get it to pop up when my phone times out or I put a shortcut on my tf3d or something, any suggestions?

any Sprint users did you apply the Keyboard fix or dont need it ) nad the ring vib fix also. Can some of you guys post a quick list of fixes and tweaks that need to be applied not built in, can some of you post a list of fixes that need to be applied for other users too know....

Here is a couple must have cabs that I install after I flash.

Keep Music playing when pressing power works great for apps like pandora or wunder radio.

Disable Slide Wakup will stop your phone from waking up if the keyboard is slide out.

csdevctrl is a program to use the wm native lock.
