Lag doesn't occur till 500+. Didn't upgrade to R7 because of the HTC Messaging in it. It seriously sacrifices performance to have my text message appear with a barely visible picture of the person I text next to it. Useless. :(

I do like r7's new features: new voice recorder, new ringers, hidden landscape mode (pleasant surprise but not needed), seems to move a bit smoother in animated wallpaper mode (home screen) and finally, the "documents" tab. There are a few serious drawbacks for me: This rom (in the second day of usage) has frozen up on me several times which required me to soft reset to fix, the reactivation of htc messaging w/o a proper fix for sprint, the removal of "3G" icon (not serious). I think i will wait for r8 and hope these issues will be addressed. Excellent work as always Juicy, take your time on the next one..i will be patiently waiting as always!

Just curious do you have Swype installed? After I removed it, no more freeze ups....kinda bummed though, but I will see after another day to see if it is really that app...but so far since removal, no issues...

Man did I ever get my TP2 at the right time!... This device is more than I ever expected it to be!.

I held off on buying it until the ROM development was more advanced. Juicy, thanks for the hard work! Can't wait for R8 and all it's landscape goodness.

Will there be a difference between your landscape version and Mighty's?...

it's coming from the same source... so the artwork is 100% converted.

his thread title "first cdma landscape rom" is misleading... landscape isn't finished. you could do landscape with 1921 packages (he is using 1922) ... it's still not done.

Your Welcome and yes bring back HTC Messaging has it is now better to use and more stable. If you don't like it revert back to old ROM.

I never had any issues with native wm mms. I could receive and send mms right after using the prov. cab. I'm more of a use the keyboard type guy so the HTC messaging doesn't work for me. Don't see the point of using a on screen keyboard when we have such a sweet a** keyboard on our TP2's.

Woooo! With the facebook album fix added we're looking at a nearly perfect rom! Holding off on R7 because of the youtube sound, which is working in R6.

I'm curious to know what was mysteriously causing the youtube sound bug all this time?

Agreed. R8 looks to be a very complete ROM. Right now I have R7 working almost perfect, with Youtube sound being the only problem. Other than that, everything else works great. HTC Messaging works smoothly with MMS, Swype works well, no ringer problems, everything just works. Thanks Juicy. :wav:

It was working for me on Sprint...but I was having lock ups and freezes, which all went away once I removed it...sad to say goodby to it, but the resets really suck, especially having to take off my Sedio and then the back...arrggg...(time to drill!)#-o

I did a hard reset last night & restored an SPB Backup from 12/20 as the ringer was working fine at that point. The ringer immediately started working & I figured "great, the problem is fixed".

The problem is, it happened again today at work. I have the phone set to ring & vibrate. It ALWAYS vibrates, but some of the time it only vibrates & fails to ring (& it never gives any kind of error)

Is there any fix for this?? I really love my current setup & REALLY don't want to go to a different ROM just to fix one single problem......

~John

OMG, I don't believe this. I decided to update from R3 to R7 figuring that would fix the ringer problem.

I just realized I am having the exact same ringer problem with R7........

Well, I just flashed back to NRG's Dusk ROM.

I hated to do it, but I need my phone to ring 100% of the time & NRG gives me no ringer issues. I really like Juicy's ROM's better (always have) but I guess there is no perfect setup at this time (I have a few ussues with NRG that don't occur with Juicy)

Agreed, all the top chefs should collide and gave us a "ultimate rom". I bet it would be the best rom ever, add a little bit of each of there roms into one.:wav:

Is there a Soft Reset button somewhere in R7 because I'm not seeing it. Other ROMS I've tried had it right out in the open and I'm not taking my case off to take my battery cover off to reset my phone again if I need to.

Other than that, so far R7 is running smoothly.
