What I got was 2 "permanent" blank, squares, one where the "sprint logo was, and one slightly below it?? A soft reset would not get rid of them, weird.

Is the cab designed to just eliminate the logo, or can you add your own? I have seen a custom logo somewhere, that is what I was after....

either way, it must have been one of those things...I'm just glad, my restore wasn't corrupted as first thought!...I just made another..

Does anyone know how to backup the Bluetooth configuration? Everytime I flash I have to re-pair to my cars hands free system.

I read over here (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...24#post1346224) and followed the instructions but I cannot find the device key in the following string.

"Locate HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Bluetooth/Device"

It goes all the way to Bluetooth but there is no key for Device.

You must update your MMS settings.

Within TF3D Messages>All Messages>Menu>Settings>Options>Menu>MMS Server>SampleMMSC:
Ip is left blank
Port #: 80
Server Address: http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms
Connect Via: Verizon Wireless
Send Limt: 1024kb
Wap Vers: WAP 2.0

Click "done." The only other things I changed were updating the registry entry with CDMA_RSSI_PPC.dll so that the data connection bars display correctly (there is a cab for this) and under communications>menu>connections>manage existing connections, I updated Verizon Wireless and CDMA1x connections with the username (use your cell number) "5551234567@vzw3g.com" and password of "vzw". Saved, restarted phone. I'm using SMS just fine through TF3D and when sending MMS, either go into winmo side or your photo album and send MMS that way. It opens up the ugly old looking winmo texting and sends/receives just fine for me. Winmo may work for sms too, but I don't care to test it as I don't use it except when I have to (mms). Again this is for VERIZON TP2.

HKLM/Software/Arcsoft/ArcSoft MMS UA/Config/mm1/WspHeader. I added a String named "x-vzw-mdn". The value is your phone # (9145551212). Soft reset, and then I was able to send MMS messages.
I can also confirm that I am on Verizon and this worked for me. Thanks!

Try installing the cab before the maxmanilla cab. But if you're looking for a custom logo, here's a bunch to choose from:

Re: [ROM] [15/11/09] Juicy Rhodium_W R3 [SENSE UI] [XDA_UC]

Anyone having an error where your softkeys don't update, after you hit the start menu? Whenever I hit "Start," the bottom softkeys switch to "Lock" and blank, and will not revert to normal unless I lock the phone. Ironically, they function properly--if I'm on the home tab, the left softkey is phone, and the right one is menu; they just display improperly.

Also, does anyone know if it's possible to make system lock a selectable program for the Manila 2.5 quicklinks? It would be awesome if I could lock my phone more easily.

Thanks.

Cool...thanks! I saw one that had just a name on it, so maybe that was a registry thing? Anybody know?

Either way...thanks (and thanked)
