Big, after playing with the ringtones a bit, I found that I could use a .wav file that I had in the \My Documents dir and it works from the settings screens and it actually is used when an incoming call comes in. Somehow it seems that a .wav file is handled differently than a .wma or the different directory makes a difference. Hope this helps.

Yeah it does.. BIG thanks... going to try to convert to wav and cook...

hopefully that will do the trick.. running out of ideas

any idea why slide to play isnt working either? maybe its related? also in the past with other chefs there have been these same types of sound issues. at one point it was opera beta conflicting with certain builds. it would cause corruption of ringtones etc. seems completely unrelated youd think. just what in the hell is a browser messing with ringtones right away?

On Sprint 23xxx, can't sync facebook profile with contact bc can't log on. Says there was a connection error... password is right and internet work.

Yeah that does not work.. Go to the settings and sign-in through data services, it will work that way.

Made this handy Cab out of the existing MaxSense Backup/Restore created by BeeGee_Tokyo

Just install the cab and it will install 2 shortcuts to the tools folder
MaxSenseBackup
MaxSenseRestore

The backup file is created in \Storage Card\Application Data\MaxSense. If there is no SD-Card, then the backup file is created in \Application Data\MaxSense in the main memory

This will Backup ALL MaxSense Registry
Widget Backgrounds, Locations, ANY Settings
MaxSense Settings

Will there ever be max sense with the retractable notifications or has that project been scrapped.


I was told that it would be considered but given the direction of max sense I dont think it will return to that.

It seems as though Max sense has moved on. Just curious if I should keep on waiting or not.

I would like a Yes or NO answer please.

I had mentioned in a quote to you before that i had given Max that request and will try to get it added in.. he did say it was possible.

Since that quote he has been out of town and has not worked on MaxSense for some time... There are many ideas/bugs/improvements that he is working on so not sure where it falls in his list. He is in control of that.

So i cant really give a Yes/No answer.. He has the info and should hopefully be developed soon...
