Re: (*NEW)[02-17-10]V3 Timberwolf 6.5.5 Sense 2.5 2012 (23534) MMS working - MAX 3.0

jstine,

My opionion on the backgrounds (assuming they're email background on the email tab) is I prefer the current. Of course if I saw the new ones on my screen I might feel different lol. My concern is the readability of the text on top. However, as been stated before, it's your rom. We're just along for the ride (without paying for the gas I might add).

On the topic of opera v10, I've used v10.1b and v10.2b and initially I was pleased with it. The only problem I have with it is the two level zooming. I mean you set it to zoom to one level instead of being able to vary the amount of zoom. I haven't seen the zoom bar work (makes sense) either. I'm not sure if v10.3 "fixed" this. But again, it's your rom (and the ride's been great)

I know it's got nothing to do with this rom, but does anyone else have inconsistent results when updating the weather at the current location? One time the temp is 54, the next it's 39, the next it's ... I'm just hitting "update now" on the weather tab.

No, I tried it like 10 times with no issues. I use the update button all the time and have never seen any discrepencies.

I will say one thing I loved about quickmenu was the ability to assign your start hard button to open/close quickmenu. Similar to showcase using the soft key.

OK, I took the plunge and installed QuickMenu on my phone. The cab I used has the start button already assigned ("Register win key of device" in settings/general) I also set the "Menu item edge:" to 20 (settings/view). Makes it very finger friendly. You probably already know this but thought I'd put it out there!

Here's the cab I used for quickmenu. It took a while to find a cab file vs a rar that you have to copy to your program files. This worked great for me.

XDA QuickMenu.cab

I got it off of the following XDA thread. (added by a mod since the OP had apparently abandoned the thread)

jstine,

When I'm in file explorer (ex), I can scoll (via finger) 2 or 3 times before the screen freezes (not lockup up totally). When I wait 5-10 seconds it will come back and I can scroll a couple more times.

I think this happened in previous versions so I'm thinking it's not an extended (?) version issue.

Just giving some data.

I tried switching 10 different directories within File Explorer and had no slow down, except the windows directory. Are you opening large directory, such as windows. When opening a directory with that many files, you will always have slow responses. You did not say if you could see the spinning wait icon.

+1 It is not when selecting directories. It is just when you open exploer, you try to scroll down and the screen freezes for like suntopper said 5-10 seconds or sometimes more. Then it just starts running normally again like nothing happened. And it's almost everytime you go into File Explorer.
