I have a question. I want to start cooking my own Roms for HTC TP2. Do you know where can I find the OEM files and a good tutorial?

^^ This is not a good idea imho. Mike has other stuff in that cab that is meant for Sense 2.1, keyboard mapping, etc...

isn't this ROM set up for sprint already? i see all of it's programs and the cook is on sprint... i only see special cabs for verizonand telus in the original post... on other roms i had some provisioning thing pop up to let me choose sprint... this one doesn't have that, am i something to install something>? thanks

Yes... this is first and foremost a Sprint ROM!! Both deck and I are on Sprint. No need for ANY provisioning cabs!!

Well, tek, my issue is that all of the cities I have under weather are updating fine, except for the one under "my location." It hasn't updated since I first added it last night at 10:00 pm. I don't know what the issue is... you got any ideas?

awesome, that's one less thing i have to worry about since i'm on sprint

That is definitely a unique problem, as I have neither experienced it nor read about it. You said you added "My Location"? It should be in there by default. Quick GPS is also set to auto-update as well, so all you should have to do is hit update now on the weather tab, and set the update frequency. I know this is the last thing people want to hear, but have tried hard-resetting?

Another far-fetched problem could be the tower near you does not support A-GPS. Have you had "My Location" working on other roms?

Hey guys, great rom. been on it since this morning. one question, My htc volume control dissappeared for some reason. not a huge deal but was wondering if anyone had a suggestion, registry edit, cab, to bring it back. Strange thing is I switched to titanium for a short time period and went back to sense, noticed it was gone. Could be something else though. Appreciate any help! Thanks.

I have been running this Rom (r5) since it's release and I must say it has got to be one of the most solid Roms to date. Have not had a lockup, memory doesn't eat away, battery seems great, and everything just works.....Great f'n job!
