Wow...just had my first hard reset ever...and I am using the latest unlocker...anyone had this happen with this ROM? Probably just a fluke...I had pressed on the email icon and suddenly it froze, and then did a hard reset on its own...

i have 2tp2's and the one with new unlocker has more issues with roms than the one on old unlocker. never had a hardreset issue on old unlocker.

I've had a soft reset is all. I've had a couple of hard locks with another cook's ROM but didn't follow the recommended flash stock rom first. No complaints from me other than the usual Windows muckery.

I wish I could get used to Titanium only build but one annoyance I have compared to Manila 2.1 is when I wake my phone up I always tap somewhere on home screen that brings up a screen I don't want, hit one of the panels that take up whole screen. I guess I could adjust the screen by having bottom panel selected leaving room at bottom to tap without selecting a panel. Is that the way to ge around this and thanks. I am used to having plenty of room in Manila 2.1 to tap and not have unwanted things selected when I wake up phone.

Are these hard locks happening with 6.5.3 or 6.5 (or both)? As I say, I'm seeing some weird behavior out of 6.5 with respect to the hard reset (left-right keys + power button). I'm reflashing with the stock Sprint ROM, will do a hard reset, and try the 6.5 (21889 build) again. I didn't see this behavior with the earlier build of 6.5.

It concerns me a little that I can't affect a good hardware hard reset.

Not rom related I don't thin but is anyone having troubles connecting to Internet using Skyfire. Will not connect for me today but my data is working fine for all apps. I am running 6.5.3, Manila 2.1. Again, I don't think it is rom related because had same trouble before flashing again to Malrom and thanks.

Do you know of a link to the original unlocker? I agree with you...I upgraded to the newest one recently because I was having a few weird "little" issues but it'd be nice to try the original again...

Whenever I soft reset, my phone ringer changes from Vibrate (for phone calls- not system vibrate), back to an audible ringer. Anyone else have this issue? None of the other notifications seem to change, just the ringer...

it was skyfire, they were "retooling" and there done now, i alpha test for them and asked in a pm about conection and my porn playback was jerky for 2dys. dont forget skyfire does have a forum to ask questions or find answers if you get issues.

That's a common issue with these builds. There's a file under \My Documents\MalROM which will fix that--side effect is it disables the Advanced options under Phone, so set those before you install.

I have an odd thing going on. While my phone is just sitting on the home screen, it will just switch to the contacts screen all by itself. Also, it will flash back and forth between different screens by itself....very strange. Anyone else seeing this? I'm using 6.5.3/2.1

Mal, are those the only screens you can recommend working on your ROM with Titanium? I had an Omnia before and ran titanium on it and there were a ton of different panels that we could use (actually had Neo theme ported onto it and that was freaking sweet!) but I don't know if the resolution would work on the TP2. I've searched previously for different panels (here and on XDA) when I was on Mighty's ROM but some of them caused nasty lock ups needing a HR to fix. Just looking to see if you can recommend any other ones that work well on your ROMs.

It's a good question. Off the top of my head, no, I can't recommend any others but not because of compatibility issues, but because I haven't really tried any others.

The only other one I mean to try was the one for Nitrogen, which would be a good tie-in with the player that's already in ROM.

What others ones did you have in mind? I just haven't seen any other ones that really wooed me yet or had an interesting function.

Wifi doesn't disconnect automatically
 

My first flash was your 6.5.3 ROM (Jan 3rd). I noticed that I could leave the wifi on and it would turn itself off. Anytime I needed a connection, like if I tapped on update weather, it would automatically connect.
But now, it stays on all the time! Is there a something I'm missing that's causing this, or some way to change this?

Nitrogen was one, I have the player but don't know how to get it into a panel of it's own. I'll flip through the Omnia later to see what some of the names were of the panels I had on there, it's been a long time and my memory sucks.... There were a bunch of nice clocks, chero was one of them, but I'll check and let you know. do you know off-hand if the resolution be a problem with many of the panels, or is it dependent on the panel/app?

Ah nice, didn't see that =). No mention of the program launcher panel tho, that would be kinda sweet. I am interested to see which others ones can be dug up (as mentioned by others in the thread).

Running 6.5. I use SPB Mobile Shell and can't use it with 6.5.3 since it covers the start button.

It's been happening to me.

Or I will select the text message tab, and it will go there, but then quickly back to the home tab. When I click the text tab again, it will take me to the email tab. Then that's the end of the problem, and I am able to go to the text tab without a problem (until it decides to randomly happen again)

Yah same here with 6.5.3/2.1. I can deal with it but a little annoying. Considering going back to 6.5 Titanium with Mobile Shell.

titanium is much better in dealing with notifications.
still.. is there any way to turn off led blinks once notifications are dismissed for the email or txt or missed call!

it seems redundant to dismiss notifications, then open the email all the way to mark it as read, to stop the led blinks.

anyone exp. the same opinion?

Mal, do you know of anyone who's ported over Neo Titanium for the TP2? I've searched for anything Wvga but haven't been able to find anything, at least for a CDMA ROM. I saw one GSM I believe, but not CDMA.

Nah, knock yourself out. I have no issues with you guys upping and using older versions. It's all about what makes you guys happy, not what I dictate ;-) but thanks for asking anyways!
I don't think I'm too familiar with it...or maybe I am (sounds familiar), as I have tried some of those UI changes on previous versions. I'll take a look though.

No problem, just wanted to make sure! I used to use it on my Omnia, it's nice, clean and without words, I just can't find it anywhere for our resolution. If you look in the Omnia threads there's a ROM from Blazingwolf that had it with screen shots, he ported it over for the Omnia.
