Re: <> 2-19-10 <> Medium Hill Rom's <> SYS 23534 & 21890 <> MH UC & Provisioning v3.1

thanks guys, at this point i'm going with it's showcase since i SERIOUSLY have eliminated and changed soo many things so far, and i don't think anyone else is using it. Thanks bkimbler for listing processes, and the test 5 with the x2 taskmanager will be up in 20 minutes. Test 5 should work, and if it does, then I will have a test will a modified showcase to exclude the processes you list, I already have put some in just from my own work, as i do know showcase can cause issues if you don't add stuff to the exclusion list, i didn't even think of this before. So thanks you two for testing and flashing so much tonight/today. I do like showcase the best and if i can get it to work right, i would rather use it. So.... once you get me the process list, test 5 with the x2 taskmanager should be ready for to download and test. While you test that one, I will add your processes to the exclusion list, cook, and upload that, and hopefully that will work with showcase. If not, then we will just stick with the x2 task manager.

repllog.exe
commanager.exe
tmail.exe
connmgr.exe

bttrayce.exe
omc.exe
poutlook.exe
showcasesuite.exe
nk.exe

That's it.

Hey Dibbs, I know I am late to the discussion regarding the corp exchange/pin issue, and I haven't gone through all the posts regarding this issue... but here are my 2 cents.

If your rom is the only one having the issue, then I guess its save to assume a program/tweak/modification installed by you is causing it. So why not setup a base rom without any modifications/tweaks/programs and release it as a beta to see if that solves the issue. If it does solve the issue, install your mods/tweaks in small groupings and release a beta each time. That way we can confirm which batch of mods causes the problem to narrow down the issue.

I know the above solution is not ideal, and very time consuming, but that is usually what I do when I have a hard to fix problem. Start at the base (that works) and work my way up till I hit the problem... And it usually does take a lot of time.

Thanks for the great work and support.

Re: <> 2-19-10 <> Medium Hill Rom's <> SYS 23534 & 21890 <> MH UC & Provisioning v3.1

thanks kimbler.

@cls, already done that a week or so ago with the stripped titanium rom in the test folder that was nothing but the SYS but.... it did have showcase for the task manager. I thought about the stripped rom about an hour ago when i was looking at the test folder on the ftp, and thats when i got the idea that maybe it was just showcase causing the issue. Which would also explain why the 6.5 version of my roms work with exchange and the 6.5.x don't. And that why i made the x2 version that will be up for download in 7 minutes, and why i asked kimbler to list his specific processes, so maybe i can get showcase to work with the exclusions list. But yeah, you were on the right track.

well, i know it's a small issue, but i'm trying to get rid of ALL bugs for everyone as long as they have the time to test with me. Here is the link for test 5 with the x2 task manager, if this works, then i have the showcase with the modded exclusion list uploading.

seriously hope this works......

Cool, I have had no major problems with the roms either.

Just wanted to add some new thoughts to the discussion as it sometimes helps to solve the problem. I know after hours of pounding my head on a problem I sometimes ask a third party for their perspective on the problem, and the discussion that ensues sometimes helps me to realize the solution.
