all i did was the following on my Windows x64 machine:

• copy msvcrt71.dll to windows/system32 folder
• set administrator/windows xp compatibility mode for htcrt.exe and the implantxip exe files under your tools directory

i'm currently running manila 2.5 (with a 32MB pp like you did =P); seems to be working fine right now. using this disable htc messaging cab to use the microsoft default threaded sms (which i prefer anyways)

I installed this cab and it works through the sms tab in manila, but not through the contacts tab. Meaning if I click on a contact and go to sms in that contact it still takes me to the "all people" page, but nothing can be done through there. Is that as good as it gets? This means I still have to type in a name to send a text. I guess if I already had a text going w/someone then I could just use the sms tab and that would probably take me straight to the wm sms conversation w/that person, but if I wanted to send a new text to a contact that still can't be done through contacts, right?

*Edit* - Actually, my girl just sent me a text and I can't access it through the text tab in manila either. Nothing happens when I click on the text. If this is as good as texting can get in 2.5, I just can't roll w/that. I rely too much on texting to be jumping through hoops just to send one.

I just did the flash shuffle, first stock then onto baseline. I didn't do a hard reset this round because of timing and needing my phone to be up and ready since I am off to work in 5 mins.

Will test out and let you know of anything that comes up.

The only cab's I typically add are, start menu (4 wide icons), pocketwit, NFL (but rarely use), and not much more because this ROM has core player and everything else that I would need. Edit, also add Google Maps

Did it cook in? Cuz I don't have last night's kitchen. But. . . Tachi has been in the kitchen but it hasnt been cooking in for some reason. I've been getting a lame dialer with blue buttons and send/end buttons on the right. I tried adding a Tachi package to the kitchen that i found online, but it still didn't install, so I use a cab.

Every kitchen I've downloaded as had the tachi dialer, at least as far back as 3-4 wks. ago. There are no _skip files in your Tachi EXTs are there? I don't why they'd be there as they've not been there in mine, but that's the only reason I can think of as to why it wouldn't cook. Mine always cooks in w/no problems.

Nope, no skip files. I'm doing some diggin around with my custom packages I add.... there may be something that replaces the Tachi. I took a couple tweaks from indagroove's TopazSmoke kitchen. . .

tachi dialer is already there, but today I am moving to rhodium dialer, I just have to make a black and blue skin for it.

note: dialer should go in 6_end (or after), otherwise there is something that overwrites one of its srettings.

Can someone post a screenshot/pic of the rhodium dialer? I've look around, but a lot of the pics on sites are missing for some reason and others look like the Tachi dialer that I have already and yet still others say Tachi/Rhodium dialer, which I kind of thought was already the case. Thanks.

it looks the same as the tachi dialer, no difference. its the dialer behind the scenes that is faster but the skin itself is very similar if not identical.
