Here it is, not sure what it does exactly. Hasn't seemed to make a huge difference, but I always install it anyways...

I would love to give credit for this cab, but I have no idea who made it. I did not make it and take no credit (or responsibility) for it...

**BTW Raidzero: I have had "My Location" work on other ROMs with my Alltel phone so its possible**

To get your "My location" working try this:

Install the PPST cab and run PPST.exe
Update your PRL
Install the dcd 2008 cab
Look for a cab called "GPS Registry - Alltel"
And most importantly, turn off TF3D and delete the "forecast_cache" file from /Application Data/HTC/databases then turn TF3D back on and try again.

If that doesn't fix it then it may just not work for Alltel phones, which seems to be an issue with some of the ROMs around...

even with that cab and deleting the database mine still doesn't work.

I've stopped using it due to this. What I use instead is RaphKeyboard Configurator. It allows you to set any button to do whatever you want. I usually set my action button to close programs as I never use it as an "action" button anyway. Here's the cab if you're interested...

RZ, I'm downloading last nights kitchen now. Are there any known problems w/last night's kitchen that you know of?

Sms it's not a problem with Raidezero it's regular problem with 2.5 and Akeo and others are working on it.

Midle time for answer your sms with 2.5 you'll select messages-all message and for sending a new one go to your contacts/all people and select to send the sms form there and you wil do it.

Raid are you including the Rhodium dialer in the latsnigth kitchen I saw it's more stable than Tachi?
The fuctiion for hard reset in settings are not available in your Rom 23506 2.5

That keyboard is just a modified EZ input, I think I put up an EXT on this thread somewhere, if not you can get it from calk's kitchen, just be sure to delete the defaultim line from the registry settings (from fingerkeyboards if you want ezinput to be default and vise versa)

SMS does not work in manila, we need to use the default WM texting app. stable means it does not crash, it does not crash for me at least but I do not install anything after I flash since it's my ROM, it has everything I need.

The initial challenges I have are:
-sometimes the icons don't respond to being touched - not an issue before
-names don't come up as options when inputting my 'to's', have to check names (for sms and e-mail)

icons - do you mean the softkeys? I have seen this while trying to press the update button for weather, nowhere else though. I think it was because I already pressed it and was pressing again too soon..
autocompletion - I know about the autocomplete for texts, not sure why it doesnt work. I am sure it has something to do with my autocomplete not working at all anywhere throughout the ROM.
calling - I have not seen this, the TP always takes forever to ring with any HTC dialer..
SYM - been broken forever. I have accepted this, nobody can fix it, I have not seen it work since 6.1. There are reports of it working on some 6.5 ROMs but I have given up on it, it is not just as simple as installing a new SIP.

The old taskmanager is installed and does work, the only way to get it to show up is to tap the clock, release it, then tap and hold it and the old taskmanager will come down and you can close apps and switch between them in this way..
I do not know anything of darkening screen, nobody has mentioned this and I have not seen it. maybe jdm is right about flashing back to stock first, though I do not. I just hard reset after flash.

Ok, thank you for the info. I have had the SYM work on other 6.5 ROMs but not here. I can work around it. I send an e-mail with my weather location and paste it into my weather. I guess I will have to deal with the slow answering of the phone.

np, have you done a hard reset since flashing? installed any apps that could be slowing down the phone app? I will test this more. maybe the rhodium dialer that was ported to VGA would work better..

I've been installing the Tachi dialer because I despise the one in the kitchen (no offense). I know the Tachi is a lil slow when a call comes in, but it's ok for now. If you put in a new dialer that would be awesome.
