I'm not sure how it could change the strength so drastically though, I mean I went back to Jug's rom and it was back up to par and reverted to mr6 again and the same problem arose. D-:

I've noticed marked signal degradation across the board from 6.1 to 6.5. I have absolutely no idea why, but it's pretty consistent.

thats what i was told but i get full bars on JD & dcd roms with most radios & with juicy & mikes roms i get 2 bars @ most...so im not sure what to believe

odd... maybe they have different ways of reporting the signal? (i don't know these things, just throwing ideas around

Are any of the latest radios flashable to the Diamond? It seems that they were ported from Diamond's, but they are not listed in the Diamond upgrade forum yet.

i to have flashed to mr6 and my signal strength is very poor....also im on 1X all the time and RA is completly gone .......i flashed to newest vzw radio not much improvement at all and still no RA any suggestions

the rA icon is missing in the Mighty6 rom. It's easy to fix. Here's the instructions http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...2695&page=1620

thank you razorloves ....can u tell me if by installing that will it give me a better signal or is it just an icon ......also im not sure on how to install dll. files
can you help or put me in the right dirrection...i have tryed to install some other dll. files a couple of months ago but was unsuccesful
.......sorry i see the instructions .they seem complicated still not sure..... i would sure appreciate some assistance or maybe a cab. to install it

Been using caulkins 6.1 rom (totally awesome rom, super fast phone) and the alltel 1.03.13F radio. Signal has been good in and around the areas I travel, however in some places it will jump from EV 3 bar coverage to 1x 2 bar coverage. Will test a new radio out tomorrow and update.

edit: guess I should include the other testing bits. 1x rx was between -92db and -96dbs. DO was between -86 and -90. battery life seemed to degrade a bit with this radio. gonna start on the telus radio and update later on.

I experienced the same problem, I live in cali, it is really weird since the rom shouldnt change the radio, I updated the radio to the Verizon one and I noticed while updating that the version said it was mighty mikes version. "weird"
