How To unlock and flash with Video Walk Through!

so is it okay to use the programs shown in the video to unlock and upgrade a sprint touch pro or is there another procedure because in the video he says not to use them or we will brick our phones and i don't want that

another couple of questions if you please:

1.) when unlocking my phone ( from us cellular) which cmonex unlocker do I use?... using the sprint unlocker seems logical, but I just want to be sure.
2.) now here is a super-noob question for ya. and yes i know it is a subjective question which is open to personal experience and preferences, but here goes..... which rom is the best?( feel free to flame away now )... by best i mean most stable/functional/least buggy. there are so many to choose from, who's should i look for, and what version? Heard alot about mighty rom stuff, and there is the new one out now, also energy roms; any comments, reviews, suggestions, or pointers would really help this newbie out. cuz the stock stuff is too darn slow and laggy!!!
3.) are roms with winmo 6.5 running smooth, or should i stick with 6.1 for now?; the new mighty rom is running 6.5.

1. yea...use the same one that's for sprint. .37
2. my opinion for least buggy and most stable is mighty rom 4.
3. it only takes a few minutes to flash a rom, so go ahead and try some out. I've been using 6.5 roms for over a month and they are very functional, but may have a tiny glitch hear and there.

the RUU gives me error code [240] when trying to flash. Activsync also says im connected, but as guest. This happened after previously flashing energyROM. Does anyone have the solution?

try this, click start-settings-connections-usb to pc, then uncheck or check the box under activesync
