I changed to EngeryROM_Ver2 and still received the problem. I couldn't connect the dots on how in the world it could be related to a them.

My first guess would be a graphics driver, but when it goes to BSOD, even the keyboard doesn't light up. It almost seems like power driver or something like that. Super Deep sleep.

Gonna try 21xxx too.

I actually think it might be that 28002 doesn't play well with CDMA touch pro's I flashed to another 28002 rom and got the same weird DBS :-\

Ok, flashed back to 21869 for more testing on that one. This time I did nothing but install the Zenyee Disable HTC MSG cab, and sent an MMS from my parents phone, and got it just fine. It shows in manilla, and clicking on it shows the message with picture as an icon to the left of the msg. Click again, and it shows it perfectly. I then tried responding back with using a picture (used NRG default image for fast sakes), and my parents phone received it just fine. So far, so good, installed only the Zenyee cab and MMS was already working fine. So overall, 21869 MIGHT be my new favorite, until further work testing is done with figuring out getting MMS working on 28002 as well as the DBS's on it. Since the Zenyee only cab didn't seem to get MMS working right on 28002 for me. So far so good with further testing on 21869.

alright everyone i may have a better background for yall..i was asking on the manila 2.5 thread over at xda and a fellow geeker gave me this!

weather works, backgrounds all work, and the 2nd layer is white instead of the wallpaper so you can read everything.

ok so far i have changed nrg themes, and then went back to the plus theme and still no dbs..been about 30-45min still testing...

hi, guys, I think I find a way to fix the BSON(DBS?) issue.
just DO NOT check the "auto adjust backlight".
(you can also change the light level manual.)
I've got NO BSON for hours, hope it works for you too.
