Well, well they did release it for Winmo. HMMM, thought only the Symbian version was out.

Just installed and Opera 10 is the shizz! Try Youtube and watch a video. Flawlessly opens streaming media player. Woot!

What do you call "this ROM"? There are various versions out right now. I've flashed most of them and Google Maps is one of the first things I check, it always works, no problem.
Without knowing more this is a bit of a guess but a different radio may help you.

Scroll up...there is a section on MyLocation that could help.

EDIT: Google maps works right off a fresh install but switching to a different radio can improve/lower accuracy of proximity. Keep in mind that switching radios can improve your current location but may act differently as you are driving or moving to a different location. Approximate location within 10-20 meters is acceptable IMO.

Could somebody guide me to a link for the 21864 build with Manila 2.1?

All I'm finding is the one with Manila 2.5 or the 23xxx build.

I need something stable for now (traveling a lot this week) so I can't really afford to be messing with the 2.5 glitches.

I installed Opera 10 and tried it out. Feels nice and more polished but I haven't been able to figure out how to add the zoom bar back. I tried grabbing the window class and sticking it in the HTC SmartTouch registry area, but that didn't seem to do anything but I didn't try very hard so possibly I skipped a step or had a typo.

I didn't get to test YouTube before restoring a backup. Is the Youtube different than Opera 9.7. Opera 9.7 opened the flash video inline in the page.

not shure if I had to disable the manilla/Sense B4 doing so, but I did anyway to install the Opera10, and now it is the default browser, I am texting both with soft & hard keyboard now...
