Go Start/Tools/Tweaks/TouchProTweaks 1.4 Disable Mute Ring, then goto HTC Volume Control under Tweaks and select One control for both system and ringer. I know the display is WM but I followed the instructions and have been ringing for hours. Not confirmed yet and I dont know how important the HTC Volume part is but at least two others have tried it and it's working for them. We gotta give it oh 12-24 hours to see if the ringer holds. Hope that helps.

thanks i tried that with no luck... the only way i can get it to work is by changing to WM dialer on 21864

Re: |H|ROM|6.5.1|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Photon' (23081/21864) |Nov5| Manila 2.1 and 2.5

Hey winmonewbie or rootlinux, as far as Nov.10ths 23504, how much noticably slower is the 2.5 build compared to the 2.1 build? I wanted to get your input, as i have been running 23504 2.1 edition for the past 3 days now just to get some 6.5.1 luvin', and has been pretty fast and zero problems or glitches, and although i have had lots of problems with the essential stuff with 21864's 2.5 (Nov10) (sms really slow, MMS not working at all, even with using all known cab's and tricks, random LONG pause's/Lag), i was wondering if 23504's Nov10 2.5 build was working better, or at least how the overall speed compared to the Nov10 2.1 version, and also if things seem to work a little better then the Nov10 21864's? Thanks guys.

There is a program menu on the top left bar if you are using 23504.
Why waste a softkey for that?
I would put something else there that is needed.
I put my contact manager there.

I am diggin' it.
Pretty fast and stable.
Has a glitch here or there but so does Stock. LOL

I am using diff apps for SMS/MMS Contacts and I am using WM dialer.
Also I have turned off Fav People and Messaging Tabs.
Don't need them as I am running diff apps that work better than the stock tabs.

Using SMS Chat for SMS
sMMs for MMS
Panoramic Contact Genius for Contacts. ( I also have Resco Contacts and a few others )
With any contact replacement the Fav People tab is not needed so there is no problem with using the WM dialer.
I posted a sexy WM dialer skin a few pages back with a screenshot.

All in all I really like this rom.
Speed is good, UI is SEXY as a MOFO, and it is pretty stable.

4 and 1/2 outa five for a 6.5/2.5 rom.

Did you remove sms/mms and install Arcsoft?
Also, I would disable HTC messaging.

Re: |H|ROM|6.5.1|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Photon' (23081/21864) |Nov5| Manila 2.1 and 2.5

First off, obviously love the manila 2.5 and appreciate all the work. I hope to return the favor post graduation when I have some more time.

Since manila 2.1 I've had a problem with MMS. I'm not sure I ever even tried the arcsoft stuff. So I installed the newest ROM and tried the suggested Remove->Soft->Install from the first couple replies. After some searching I was trying to check out threeface's guide but the pdf broke.

Whenever I receive a MMS, it comes up with either the subject text they sent or the filename on the sms tab with a paper clip icon noting an attachment. I click on it and it disappears like it never existed. Until the pdf starts to work, I've got no idea where to go.

That is an issue with this release.
There are fixes posted and talked about here.
Honestly I have not used the fixes because I do not use HTC or WM to get my MMS.

But if you try to open the MMS via TF3D the message will remove itself probably.

If you do not open it but instead go right to the WM messaging side you should be able to open it up.

Hope that helps.
Search Winmo's posts for MMS.
I think he posted a fix or at least talked about it. LOL

How do you disable HTC Messaging?
Also, is it possible to enable screen rotating on the music and album tab and also Opera?

No, none jk We are working on two fixes. Read back a few posts/ pages to figure out the steps. One is to disable the default dialer and just run the MS dialer. You wont be able to call out via the People Tab in Sense but IMO it's a good sacrifice to hear your ringer.
The fix that I am trying is this:

Which issues are you still having? For the TXT/Mail button issue you want this:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...2&postcount=98

For the Fn/CAPS key issue you want to install Juicy Western EZ Input-its in the threads attached files (linked in my sig)

Let me first start by saying that I love this ROM. With that being said I'm having a problem with the ringtone volume being too low. Regardless of the amplification of the ringtone or the checking the volume, nothing seems to work. The only time the ringer can be heard loudly enough is when the other caller hangs up and the phone recognizes the hang up. I have installed the FULL VOLUME file that is circulating, checked the settings in the tweaks, and even replaced the file in the windows directory with the tweaked one floating around. From reading the search results this seems to be a common problem, but I can't find a fix that actually works. Does anyone know of a concrete fix for this problem or is it just going to continue being a bug? All other system sounds are amp'd up except my text message alert and ringers (regardless of the ringer selected).
Try root's cab:

Sounds like an improper set up. Did you: run the uninstall cab, soft reset, Arcsoft, soft reset? The situation you describe sounds like what I've seen when I try MMS with whatever components nrgz has cooked in. I always wind up doing the steps listed.
EDIT: Jump down to my next post for some specific Sprint server settings needed for this build-23504 11-10 M2.5

Very strange, never heard of not being able to type ANYthing? Could need a reflash.

Bummer but you are asking about two different animals up there manila 2.1 and manila 2.5. The latest 2.5 rocks IMO. There are issues but nothing that cant be fixed IMO. Only you will know if its stable enough for YOUR daily use.
For me, to be rocking a 23xxx build with manila 2.5 on a TP?! No brainer!!!
The 10/25 build is ROCK solid.

I can give you the path but not the destination, dont know if it'll work if you do find it:
HKLM/Software/HTC/Manila HomeSKLPath and HomeSKLText are what you want to mod.
