Tried the hard reset that's where I'm at now. Unless there is a different way to hard reset the phone with this rom, I used the hard reset from the original phone handbook.

No, this happened to me, I followed Threefaces advise. Flash back to a stock ROM, after the it reset and reboots, then do an immediate hard reset, let the stock ROM fully load,then flash back to your custom ROM, when that ROM is loaded and begins to boot (at the touch pro screen), do one more hard reset, and then enjoy, This worked for me. Happy Flashing!

I dunno man. Google maps works just fine here with GPS. I turned google maps on and clicked use gps and it found me in about 5 seconds.

Hey dude...do you know how to get your device into bootloader? That's the tri-color screen. At the bottom,in the white area, it will say "serial" or "usb"...if it says USB, you're fine to flash from your PC...don't worry if you havent estabished an activesync connection.

...then, yea, flash a stock rom, hard reset, flash back to custom, then hard reset again. You should be good.

Worse case, you may need to flash from your sd card, which is pretty simple. There are threads here on PPCGEEKS in the CDMA Touch Pro section with links for stock roms and directions for flashing from the sd card. Here:

If you need to flash from the sd, either download the rom to your storage card, or use a card reader [much quicker]. Make sure your storage card is formatted for FAT 32 and there is no encryption enabled. More details are in the referenced links.

I don't know how to get the phone in bootloader. I only went in loader when I was in sync mode.

Its just like flashing a ROM [it IS flashing a rom ]. hold the Volume down button and the power button, then soft reset with the stylus [keep holding the vol down button and power button until the screen changes, then release]...its tricky, but you can do it. the device will go into a tri color screen...do this while your device is connected via USB...check the white space on the tri color screen...if it says "usb" then you have an active connection to your pc an dyou can flash....read that thread. It has all the info and instructions...you can totally fix this.
