Hey dude...do you know how to get your device into bootloader? That's the tri-color screen. At the bottom,in the white area, it will say "serial" or "usb"...if it says USB, you're fine to flash from your PC...don't worry if you havent estabished an activesync connection.

...then, yea, flash a stock rom, hard reset, flash back to custom, then hard reset again. You should be good.

Worse case, you may need to flash from your sd card, which is pretty simple. There are threads here on PPCGEEKS in the CDMA Touch Pro section with links for stock roms and directions for flashing from the sd card. Here:

If you need to flash from the sd, either download the rom to your storage card, or use a card reader [much quicker]. Make sure your storage card is formatted for FAT 32 and there is no encryption enabled. More details are in the referenced links.
